Pamela Geller nails it: It's the Jews who will bear the blunt of Obama's misguided War in Syria

Mr. "Citizen of the World," Totally sucks at coalition building: Bush had 31 countries; Obama 1, the French

Excerpted, column, Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs, OBAMA'S MIDDLE EAST MISADVENTURE:
This latest piece of theater of the absurd will do incalculable damage to America’s credibility and standing in the world. Is Obama a master at dismantling American hegemony and destroying America’s standing in the world, or an incompetent idiot? Diabolical or stupid? And meanwhile, all of the tyrants and barbarians Obama sucked up and deferred to these past six years are showing him their appreciation by kicking him to the curb. Obama’s anti-freedom foreign policy has changed the dynamic of the whole world.
President Citizen of the World hasn’t an ally in the world. President Nobel Peace Prize Winner is going to war alone.
George W. Bush went to the U.N. Bush got the vote. George W. Bush assembled 30 countries that backed him – the “Coalition of the Willing.” But Obama can’t even get our closest ally, the U.K., to stand with him.
How’s returning the Winston Churchill statue working out for you, Mr. President?
Obama can’t turn to our reliable allies in Eastern Europe. He abandoned Eastern Europe when he scrapped our anti-missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic, in submission to Putin’s wishes... Obama can pretend that he has a friend in the feckless, faithless French. Yes, they support America going into Syria (wink, wink), but not with any actual military support or action. Words are cheap, and the French are plenty cheap.
Side with the Christians in Syria: They should be our only allies, not Assad, certainly not Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood

Continuing:
And who will bear the brunt of miscalculation and mistakes? Our one true friend in the Middle East, Israel, which he has treated most abominably. Israel will be on the receiving end of the enmity of Syria and Iran. The Israelis are waiting in lines for hours for gas masks. A Syrian army force warns that a U.S. attack on Syria would justify retaliation against Israel. And the New York Times reports that Iran is warning that a U.S. strike on Syria would lead to retaliation on Israel, fanned by “the flames of outrage.”
The commander of Iran‘s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warns that such a strike on Syria “will result in the imminent destruction of the Zionist regime of Israel.” So it is the Jews, whom Obama has betrayed and routed at every turn, who will suffer the catastrophic consequences of Obama’s Middle East pro-jihadic follies. What is Obama’s goal in interfering in a war between an Iranian vassal state and an al-Qaida/Muslim Brotherhood militia? None. It’s the humanitarian thing to do.
If Obama wanted to do something humanitarian, he would work with the Christians and religious minorities in Syria. No one in his Administration has met with their leadership. We should be siding with the Christians in Syria, and working with their leaders. That is our side. Not Assad, and not al-Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood, with which Obama is about to side (again).

Geller is a fool. The Christian community's leader support Assad because one presumes they fear the likely anti-Christian, anti-Alawite, and anti-Druze pogroms that would follow his fall.

Obama may say that he's doing what is in the best interest of the US and he may say that his administration is an ally of Israel, but his actions say otherwise. Anybody who believes Obama should or would side with the Christians in Syria is seriously misguided because everything in Obama's history and behavior in office indicate that he is a Muslim. He snubbed Netanyahu when he left him to wander around the White House while Obama had dinner, something he's never done with his Muslim officials, he didn't observe the "National Day of Prayer," but he did have a Muslim service at the Whte House, and note how he leaves Michelle at home when he meets with Muslim officials abroad? Obama supports Muslim extremists, the very same people who are a threat to the US and our allies. He sent the bust of Churchill back to the British as an intentional insult. I would opine that the purpose was to insult them for standing with the US and Israel against Muslim extremism in the Middle East.

Because he hates Netanyahu. So does France's rightist former President Sarkozy. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Mr Netanyahu's character.
