Hey, my brother's able bodied, surfs from time to time, but just because he's receiving food stamps doesn't mean he's a moocher

From, Letters to the Editor, Aug. 31:
FOX NEWS REPORT ON FOOD STAMPS WAS THIN Regarding “Food stamp surfer: ‘I just stepped into line’” (Aug. 29), Fox News, with its right-wing agenda, does a huge disservice with this kind of “reporting.”
Fraud in the food-stamp program is, in fact, quite low — and I dare say less ruinous than fraud perpetrated by banks and Wall Street. My brother is among the mentally ill homeless in this state whom right-wing conservatives are vilifying. He surfs when he can, and he surely looks able-bodied. It’s so easy to judge by outward appearances.
You try living on food stamps and see what a cushy life it is. You can’t buy hot prepared foods, but you have nowhere to cook. You can’t buy soap or laundry detergent, but you do want to be clean. And you can’t buy pet food, but your dog might be your sole companion. And food stamps don’t usually last the month. But beware of these avaricious people.

Editor's comment - Ms. Buck, just because you're able to string some sentences together in a coherent manner, and hit the send button to UT San Diego, doesn't mean that you're not a complete fucking idiot.
