by Eric Dondero As many of you might have heard, Ayn Rand individualist Pamela Geller was banned from the recent C-PAC event held annually in Washington, DC. In recent years, she was permitted to set up a panel discussion on Islamic Jihad in one of the off-rooms of the conference. They were always standing-room only.
This year she was uninvited, and not permitted to even hold a scaled-down meeting anywhere in the premises.

Many other libertarian-oriented bloggers, like Gates of Vienna, Blazing Cat, Vlad, BNI, and of course, Pamela's fans from across the spectrum, have come out in support of her, and expressed outrage at C-PAC. A Twitter site has even been created, "StandwithPamelaGeller." And it's soaring in popularity.Essentially they are turning their backs on the entire counter-jihad movement. Khan, Norquist, CAIR, ISNA and all the other Brotherhood entities are giddy that there will be no discussion on the Muslim Brotherhood’s rapid expansion.

Not that C-PAC has been particularly welcoming to pro-liberty advocates and anti-Islamists in the past. But sounds like a good idea, to this libertarian.

CPAC placates us with speakers like Sarah Palin, though their list of RINO's are out pacing even her :\
Black mark on Sarah for attending C-PAC. She should have boycotted the event, to protest Pamela's exclusion.
Let us look at the future of "conservatives".
The Right is losing 5,000 old old farts a day from death. The left the same. The kids left and right are liberal on social issues. Gays, abortion, pot, the whole schmeer. The old farts are the only cohort not on board with legalization. What does this tell you? It is just a matter of time. Ten years at most with 3.5 million every two years.
The right is going to wake up one day and “overnight” everything will have changed.
Especially given:
Medical Marijuana prohibition is a crime against humanity and a violation of the religious precept – heal the sick.
The right has no defense against that – especially given the science.

Sorry Chuckie, while weed doesn't heal the sick it certainly is a fact it gives great relief to cancer patients. In that sense it is a crime to prohibit its use for that reason
Further, the carnage left in the wake of alcoholism far exceeds any damage the use of weed may cause.
