You need your I.D. to board a plane, a train, bus; to buy booze, cigarettes, fast food, a movie ticket; even to get your shoes shined these days, but to vote?

LETTER TO THE EDITOR OF THE DAY!

MyCentralJersey.com, Jan. 24, "Democrats can thank voter fraud":
Among the bluster and the pontificating by the Community Activist-in-Chief Tuesday was the statement that “our journey is not complete until no citizen is forced to wait for hours to exercise the right to vote.” I guess Obamacare gives the dead superpowers, allowing them to move faster.

No voter fraud? Here’s just one example: in St. Lucie County, Fla., there are 175,574 registered voters, yet 247,713 votes were cast. I understand that Lazarus was recruiting Democrats to vote.

The Community Activist--in-Chief lost every state where photo ID is required to vote and won every state where it is not required.

Another four years of forcing socialism on our country? God help us; I have to say that before it’s outlawed.

On the bright side, however, I will wait by my mailbox for my “free stuff” from the regime currently in power. Why should only the people that don’t pay taxes get all the benefits?

Editor's note - I was recently working in California. I stopped at a KFC 40 miles outside of Los Angeles. Used my debit card. The cashier girl asked for my i.d. Another customer was paying with cash. She was also asked for her i.d. She actually got quite annoyed about it. Everyone at the KFC was asked for i.d. to purchase food. I'm now required to show an i.d. to order Kentucky Fried Chicken, but not not to vote?
