Libertarian argument of abolishing housing subsidies, encouraging these immigrants to get a job, and stop mooching off the taxpayer's dime, completely ignored From Eric Dondero: Liberals and Conservatives debating on how best to dole out taxpayer funds. The Liberal just wants to take care of them; the Conservative wants to take care of them too, just more efficiently. The libertarian argument of putting these people out in the streets and letting them feign for themselves, rather than mooching off of British taxpayers, is not even considered by either the liberal or the conservative. Neither is the right-libertarian argument of just putting them on boats and sending them back to the country from whence they came. That doesn't occur for a second to either the stuffy Labour Party representative, or the dour Conservative Tory bureaucrat from the city of Westminster. (Yet, another reason to vote for Britain's libertarian party - UK Independence!) Watch the report. You will be horrified with the extent to which the welfare state has grown, now to the point where British taxpayers are footing the bill for moochers staying in posh 4-star hotels. Photos - And in case you were wondering, LR engaging in a bit of hyperbole and exaggeration, these are actual photos of the interiors of two different 4-star hotels in London. Funny the TV news report doesn't show full images of the hotel surroundings.
