Fairfax County, VA Republican Women's club to host anti-Sharia speaker

When Republicans are more Libertarian than some Libertarians

From Eric Dondero:

Yet another case of Republicans being more supportive of the personal liberties agenda, than some so-called "libertarians."

Note - it's the Fairfax County REPUBLICAN women's club hosting this event, not the Cato Institute, a Virginia Libertarian Party affiliate, Ron Paul meet-up group, Reason, or some other Virginia-based libertarian think tank.

From the leader of the group, via Patch.com:
“To preserve freedom in America, we must keep informed about the forces working to destroy our liberty so we can combat them,” said RWC President Alice Butler-Short (photo). “Two of those forces are U.N. Agenda 21 and Sharia Law, and our speakers will give us insights into how these are undermining our country.”
More info:
Stephanie Reis, the founder of the Omaha ACT for America Chapter... will discuss the treatment of women in Islamic society and how she believes the Hijab is a catalyst for Islamic terrorism.
The meeting will be held Feb. 20 at the Fairview Elementary School, 5815 Ox Road, Fairfax Station.

Editor's comment - Crying shame that so-called libertarian groups are completely AWOL when it comes to the subject of Islamization of America and Sharia Law. Thank God for the Republican Party and brave women like Ms. Butler-Short!

And her position on abortion, gay rights, the Patriot Act, TSA,... Just curious.

What's "gay rights"? Today it's used to support affirmative action and special rights for gays.

Used to be gay rights meant repeal of sodomy laws. Not any more. It's become LIBERAL, no longer libertarian.

So "gay rights" is a stupid fucking term.

I support the Patriot Act.
