A Republican shines in special Illy election to fill Jesse Jackson, Jr.'s seat

16 candidates total. 14 of the 16 are Democrats, with one Green Party candidate on the ballot. And then there's Republican Paul McKinley.

It's time to take on the Chicago Machine and restore family values, respect for the Constitution, and prosperity to our 2nd district.
In fairness, there are other GOP candidates running. Here's a great video just released, the Chicago Republican Party hosted a debate of a number of the candidates. Interestingly, they are all African-Americans.
