Just released... Back up again

7.8% for the month of December

From Eric Dondero:

The spinmeisters are trying their best. Bless their little hearts.

Our friends at Pundit Press, are early on the story, "Unemployment Jumps to 7.8%; MSM Pours on the Praise for a 'Strengthening Economy'":
So unemployment is up and numbers are somehow doing better? Leave it to the Main Stream Media to spin it. From the AP via Yahoo:
Robust hiring in manufacturing and construction fueled the December gains. Construction firms added 30,000 jobs, the most in 15 months. That likely reflects additional hiring needed to rebuild after Superstorm Sandy and also solid gains in home building that have contributed to a housing recovery. Manufacturers gained 25,000, the most in nine months. Even with the gains, hiring is far from accelerating. Employers added an average of 153,000 jobs a month last year, matching the monthly average in 2011. Employers added 1.84 million jobs in 2012, the same as the previous year.

The problem is that government jobs still haven't rebounded.

First off, just be thankful Romney wasn't voted in. He'd have us up to 15 percent unemployment before the end of his first term (or, more likely, he'd just eliminate the minimum wage and people would be working for 2 dollars an hour, and living out of their cars. Ahhh Libertarians. They want what's worst for everyone).

Secondly, I imagine the (slight) boost in unemployment is from the fight over the fiscal cliff and the number of people laid off post-Christmas. But hey that's logical, can't have that here.

Thirdly and this is what I came here to ask, there was a post made on Thursday entitled "Law Center Warns Congress Not to Certify 2012 Election." It was typical of this site, IE ludicrous accusations of electoral fraud, but it got a few responses, all of which proved the point of the post wrong. Now it's...gone. No longer shows up on the blog. I can still go to it by digging through my history, but it no longer appears on the blog itself.

I'm curious as to why you did that. Was it because it contradicted your world view and you couldn't handle it? And therefore, you decided no one else could look at it, lest they start to doubt you? How...Orwellian.
