It is easier, to murder with a gun.
It's easier to murder if you want to murder someone. Truthfully, killing someone with a gun is a pain. It's noisy, attracts a lot of attention and makes a mess. An ice pick or breaking a neck is a lot more low key, but then again so is poisoning someone. On the other hand, a ball peen hammer starting with the fingers and working your way up can be effective...You know Wesley, you might be deadly just talking someone to death. May be we should register your mouth.
First off, right guy, that might be the creepiest post I've ever seen on this site. Maybe go back and read that a few times, see if you can't figure out how creepy and weird that post is. But hey, you probably won't figure it out, that would require perspective.First off, while you're right that the UK has more violent crime, you STILL manage to get it wrong. The numbers vary, but the one thing they agree on is that, in terms of total crime victims, they have 25 percent more, which is not the same thing as 4 times (4 times, for the record, would be 400 percent more). Secondly, and this is the important part, when it comes to gun violence (the kind of crime that is the most relevant to gun control, I will remind you), we are doing so much worse that is actually kind of pathetic: We have 668 times more murders with firearms. Or to put that in numbers, we have 9,355 more gun murders per year than they do. Those are really the only numbers that matter when it comes to discussing gun control, so I hope you have responses to those numbers.JamesQueens, New York, NY
Oh and since I can already hear your responses coming, we only have 5 times the population of the UK, so that doesn't even begin to explain the different in gun murders between us, so don't try to use that argument please.JamesQueens, New York, NY
Go suck a dick, jeepers. Congress shall pass no law. Ring any bells, you fucking scumbag? What other civil rights do you want eliminated, you dickless animal.
Our violent crime is 477 per 100,000 and their's is over 2000 per 100,000. That's 4x the crime rate we have, more or less, which means a person is 4x more likely to be a victim of a violent crime in the UK.
And when you look at the cities with the highest gun related deaths, like Chicago, DC, etc, it's places with the toughest control. not the most lax.
One more thing: I am so glad I am not a New Yorker anymore. Now if I can only get my brother to move out of that progressive shithole.
I'm glad I never was. It would be like licking a turd. Even if you stop at some point, you're still a turd-licker by definition. :)
So says my friend the hillbilly. :). It wasn't a bad place when I was a kid, but after the 60's, it's went to hell. It's like the progressive politicians wanted to out stupid each other. today we have the penultimate in stupidity with Bloomberg and Cuomo. I asked my brother tonight how he felt being a subject. All folks of conservative and libertarian stripe need to move to states where they are welcome.
Does he feel safe? What democrats sell are the wages of prisoners and slaves. I always want to ask, "Who the fuck do you think you are? My life is none of your goddam business, parasite. My safety, my health, my interactions with my fellows are mine to govern; not yours."Wanna enrage a cop? Tell the mother-fucker you aren't a criminal. That sets them off. You'll get that "how dare you" shit in return.(Of course you're a criminal. That's how it works.)
Some cops have that fortress mentality that everyone is a criminal, of course except them. Most cops are ok, but they need to do a better job weeding out the dead wood and bad eggs and change the culture. My brother is more pro gun than I am. I think he's taking it badly. If he grew a pair, he'd get out of there.
Hey Jemas, the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with STATISTICS. I could give a fuck who has more murder rates, violent crime rates. All that shit matters ZERO!What matters is us being armed as much as possible to protect ourselves from:OUR OWN GOVERNMENTMUSLIMS WHO WANT TO KILL AMERICANS
Feel free to ignore my point about gun violence rates. Whatever makes your ability to lie to yourself easier. And no, that's incorrect, the places with the less restrictive laws do not have more violence. Unless you're arguing that Louisiana has the most restrictive gun laws, because it has the most gun homicides. Actually, my own research proves you wrong. Let's take a walk through statistics and factsLouisiana has no permit to purchase required, no owner license required, no registration required. Hawaii, which has less than 1/20th the number of gun homicides per 100,000, does require a permit, does require an owner license and and requires you to register the firearm within 5 days of buying it. Thanks for playing, that is a provable connection. And Chuck. Once again you are acting in a manner that doesn't deserve a response but you bring up my favorite point. Ah the Second Amendment, I love when it's taken literally. So I've decided to take it literally too, to read it as it was written. No restriction shall be passed on the weapons available at the time it was written. So enjoy your muskets. Nothing else, just muskets. And remember, unless you're willing to adopt a more nuanced stance on the Founding Fathers, you are tacitly endorsing slavery.I don't want any rights taken away, I just want some common sense restrictions put on weapons that can kill a dozen people in under a minute. I don't mind people owning guns, I own guns. I just think the odd bit of regulation, carefully controlled so as not to cut into our freedoms, could easily help to stem this epidemic of gun violence. But you don't want that. You know why? Because you are children. Chuck, you can't get through a post without cursing, because you are a child. The Right Guy, you included a pointless and unnecessary dig at the city where I choose to live, because you are a child. You are mentally and emotionally incapable of understanding complex issues. You can't understand the concept of a society and what it takes to keep one together, because you are far too simpleminded. Your screams of "Why can't you just let me govern my own actions?" remind me of nothing so much as a toddler throwing himself on the floor and screaming because he can't have ice cream. All of the things you complain about are part of the Social Contract you must follow in order to live in society. You want to live without a social contract? Move to Somalia. They have no social contract, and you will be shot for food within a week. You want to live in society, you gotta play by the rules, same as if I want to live in an apartment, I have to pay rent. And Eric. Oh little baby Eric. You are truly a despicable human as that post proved. It doesn't matter how many people have to suffer and die, so long as you can be safe from your delusions. You want to know what is hilariously ironic about your arguments? Because the lack of gun restrictions means those Muslims who want to kill you can get guns too, quite easily. So in other words, if the invisible (fictional) Muslim conspiracy ever does invade America from within, it will be your fault. So basically, what I'm asking is, why do you hate America Eric? Why do you want your fictional Muslim conspiracy to destroy America? What did America ever do to make you hate it so much? And while we're on the subject, you've yet to tell me what it is about slavery that you love so much? But then, none of this will reach you. It won't affect you, because my comments are based on logic and reality, something none of you understand in the slightest.JamesQueens, New York, NY
Arizona, Alaska and Vermont have the least restrictive gun laws. You don't need a license to carry concealed in those states.
I just want to purchase a rifle or shotgun; without having to show I.D.
James, ignoring facts and making up your own stats does not an argument make.
No James, your arguments are based on that little red book called The Communist Manifesto, author Karl Marx.
You can Wesley, if you buy from a private individual.
No, i mean at a store.
James once again hits all of the stupid liberal talking points. "Social contract" and "move to Somalia". You want to talk about childish?
Slaves were born into social contracts too. How did that work out for them?
Here is a great article that explains anti-gun people:http://jpfo.org/filegen-n-z/ragingagainstselfdefense.htmThey are the ones afraid and angry...and yet they want to disarm us?
Okay, this is the second time you've opined that Social Contracts are the province of slaves, so it's very clear to me you don't understand the concept. Allow me to put in a way even people of your...varying intellectual statures can understand. When I came home from work today, I decided I was going to get Subway for dinner. I went in, I ordered my sandwich, and I paid for it with a 10 dollar bill. And here we pause. Why can I pay for a sandwich with a 10 dollar bill? The sandwich is going to nourish me for my dinner tonight, and if I don't eat too much, might even form breakfast tomorrow morning. But what can the other person do with a 10 dollar bill? Well...not a thing, really. You can't eat it, you can't build with it, you can't catch or make food with it. I guess you could use it for kindling, but even then, it's not as useful as any number of twigs or leaves you could find on the ground. So why is it worth a sandwich? And also, why is a 20 dollar bill worth 2 sandwiches? And why is a 5 only worth 1?That is part of the social contract, to simplify transactions. All aspects of society are part of the social contract and if people can start ignoring it whenever they please, then society falls apart. Without the social contract, I could take your house, your food, whatever I wanted, up to and including your life, simply because I am capable of doing it. And no, this is not a direct 'Me' doing it thing (because I can almost hear you saying "But you wouldn't be able to,") it's anyone. Those homeless men on the street wouldn't be homeless because they would simply kill someone and take their place, consequence free, because without a social contract there's nothing to stop them from doing it.Incidentally, that's why your statement that slaves have a social contract is incredibly hilarious, because they DON'T! Part of a social contract is fair compensation for work. Without a social contract, someone stronger than you can simply force you to work for them, by right of being strong enough to force you into the choice of working or dying. If slaves had a social contract, they wouldn't be slaves. Period.JamesQueens, New York, NY
