Huh? Ari Fleischer goes Galt?

Simple economics: You eliminate the tax deduction for charitable contributions, rich folks will give less to charities

by Eric Dondero

Well, well, well. Dreaded "NeoCon." Isn't that what the Ron Paul people and the non-interventionist wing of the libertarian movement like to call Ari Fleischer. A "Bushie." No friend of the free market?

It would appear Ari has a bit of a libertarian streak. And a pretty radical, in-your-face one at that.
Ari Fleischer ✔ @AriFleischer I increased donations to charity in 2012. This deal limits my deductions so I, & many others, will likely donate less in 2013.
Some of his Twitter reactions included, "you're a piece of shit Ari,"; "asshole... you need a new soul"; "you're a dick"; "jerk"; "morally bankrupt fool"; "Scrooge!"; and "fuck the poor people... that will show them Ari."

But my personal favorite: "You're a titanic asshole" Ari.

You can a great summation of all the friendly messages to Ari at Michele Malkin's Twitchy.

NOTE TO ARI - Don't judge all libertarians as the same. We here at Libertarian Republican heartily welcome and encourage your libertarian side.

Charities are incredibly inefficient. The vast majority of donations go to overhead and events where the wealthy congratulate each other on their generosity.

They are still more efficient than the government.

No. No they're not.

Yes, they are. Not only high overhead, but create long term dependency, give money just to build bureaucratic empire.
