Barack still knows better

by Clifford F. Thies

According to Politico, Barack Obama called to congratulate Benjamin Netanyahu on his "plurality" win (when the parties in the current ruling coalition actually won an outright majority), and to say he is looking forward to working with "the next government" of Israel (as though the next government might not be headed by Netanyahu).

Perhaps Netanyahu congratulated Barack Obama for his party's mixed showing in 2012, retaining the White House and the Senate, while failing to win the House of Representatives, and failing to attain a majority of State Governors or a majority of state legislators. Or maybe do you think it's best to simply allow a fool to make a fool of himself.

Why did Bibi even take his call? He should have left him on hold, like Obama did to him by making him wait in chairs in an outer room while he ate lunch.
