We are all Darwin

by Clifford F. Thies

His name is Darwin. He's the cute little fellow who was found wandering in a parking lot by the animal police. Now, taken away from his family. For his own good, of course.

The truth is, we are all Darwin. Taken away from our families by public schools and even Head Start, forced into their indoctrination, starting out life with a 12 to 14 year sentence for no crime other than having been born.

Then, forced into the servitude of high taxes and excessive regulation. Where we're forced to accept everybody else's lifestyle choice but denied the right to our own. Where they steal what we make with our own hands and with our own mind, and they call this theft "social justice."

And, finally, should we make it to a retirement age they're continually moving out on us, the benefits we provided to others during our working lives are denied to us if were so foolish that we saved some of what was left over after they taxes us. And, there, no matter that we might have resources of our own, we're given the "blue pill" when we get sick because we're no longer useful to them.

So, don't feel sad for Darwin, because it's us that they're taking away.
