Paki suspect an EBT Welfare King?
From Eric Dondero:
A Pakistani man with ties very high up in the government, has been busted for cheating six different banks in the New York area out of over $80 million. He wrote bad checks to himself.
From the
NY Daily News, "Staten Island businessman's $82 million in bad checks... in just two weeks":
Saquib Khan hosted a $1,000-a-person fundraiser at his then-Todt Hill home for Hillary Clinton’s Democratic Senate campaign.
A Staten Island business owner known for throwing lavish fund-raisers for political candidates was charged with writing $82 million in bad checks — in just two weeks.
Saquib Khan wrote the worthless checks last month, according to Brooklyn federal prosecutors. Khan, 51, was released on $400,000 bail.
And this juicy bit of information:
[he] owns Richmond Wholesale Company Inc., a Staten Island-based firm that sells snack foods, bottled water and cigarettes to gas stations and bodegas throughout the region.
In other words, he made his millions servicing the EBT electronic card for welfare recipients business.
Who would have guessed, a Pakistani making a mint off of US taxpayers from convenience store sales? (Photo credits - Pacleague PakiPacUSA, TimesofMalta.com)

I don't think I've ever heard of theft of these proportions.
And you're not going to hear about it much either, anywhere's else, cause, well, ya know, he's Muslim and all. And that doesn't fit the liberal media template.
His being "muslim" and "Pakistani" are totally irrelevant to the question of free enterprise *and* to his being nabbed as an alleged fraudster.
The EBT angle isn't even part of the story - it's sheer fantasy on your part.
You are discrediting all of your hard work with this sort of racist bullshit.
Better to stick to the facts, always.
That's the whole story Ran. It'd be ho-hum if not for that angle. It's about rising Islamist influence at the top levels of government, all the way to State. Frightening shit!
I'm not a journalist. I'm a political activist with a serious agenda. Now if someone wants to PAY ME to be a journalist, I'll be happy to "stick to the facts" as you say.
You don't think I stick to the facts? Check out TPM. They're 100% bullshit for the leftist agenda, 100% of the time.
At least I try. May get it wrong sometimes. But TPM is 100% pure fabrication to advance communism.
I guess you are a big fan of post hoc ergo propter hoc.
Like I said Jim, if someone wants to start paying me to spend all day long fact checking this site, I'd be more than happy too oblige. As for now, I've got to work at gainful employment to put food on the table, and pay the mortgage. I don't have deep pockets like those on the left funded by Soros, TPM, DailyKos, HuffPo, et.al. This is a strictly VOLUNTEER EFFORT! One that COSTS ME MONEY TO PRODUCE!
That's hardly Randian. Ayn Rand would say that you do your best no matter the circumstances because you take pride in the value you offer.
