Someone must be up for reelection? Al Franken calls for getting rid of medical device tax in ObamaCare

From Eric Dondero:

Well, well, well. First he voted for the tax. Now, that he's facing reelection in 2014 Minnesota Senator Al Franken has flip-flopped his position.

From The Examiner, Byron York, "Democrats urge delay for ‘job-killing’ Obamacare tax":
On Monday, Franken again expressed his opposition to the tax he voted for. “I want to repeal the medical device tax altogether,” the senator and former comedian said in a statement. “But I am concerned that we are running out of time before this job-killing tax goes into effect. So, for now, the best thing to do to ensure that this important industry continues to create jobs and producing life-saving devices is to delay this unwise tax.”
And of course, there are some huge medical device suppliers and other medical related industries in Minnesota.

Exit comment - Sure'd be interesting if some enterprising Republicans in MN perused Franken's contributions reports.

AH Ha! Mr. Frankenstein is the one who said this. I've read in the article the other day, but it says a group of Democrats, not naming names.

A group of Dems has come together. Fuck 'em.

If they want that tax repealed then the GOP needs to ask for the Marxist Death Tax to be replealed too as part of a deal. But watch, the Socialist-lite GOP will cave.
