He associates himself with the lovely jeune fille Gulnara Karimova

From Boston.com "French star Gerard Depardieu moves to lower-tax Belgium":
The Socialist government under French President Francois Hollande has infuriated many ultra-rich in France by presenting a 2013 budget that would tax top earners at 75 percent over the first €1 million of annual income. Belgium’s top rate is 50 percent.
The Socialists of France are now reacting to the tax-motivated emigration of Gerard Depardieu in predictable fashion: he's a fat, old drunk who is too rich and associates with despicable people like Gulnara Karimova.
Yes, Gulnara Karimova, daughter of the long-term dictator of Uzbekistan. With a PhD in political economy, she holds a chair at the Tashent University of International Technologies. She has represented her country to U.N. agencies and currently serves as Ambassador to Spain. She is also a fashion model, an actress, an author, a businesswoman, and is involved in various charities in her country and worldwide. Her involvement with Depardieu includes a duet (in French). Oh, did I forget to mention she is a recording artist?
We present to our readers the video that's caused such a stir. (Gerard comes in "singing" at about the 1.40 mark).
The best revenge against the Socialists? Live well!

Christ! You are defending the bonafides of Karimova -- she is as much a scholar as Ceausescu's wife who also held a chair and pretended to be educated. Absurd.
