Geller on Sarah Palin: The most perfect candidate

McCain threw her to the "wolves" in the liberal media

Ayn Rand individualist Pamela Geller, from a speech to an Ayn Rand, Tea Party group at a downtown Manhattan bar Dec. 17:
I mean who could have been a more perfect candidate than Sarah Palin. Don't get me started. But I mean really puuuuurfect! She wasn't part of the Bush dynasty. She wasn't part of the Clinton dynasty. She came up the hard way. She was a mother. She was PTA. She was city council. She was mayor. She was governor. She came up the hard way. They loved her. She loved her husband. He loved her. She walked the walk. She talked the talk. She was going to have a child with a disability. I mean this woman was perfect. More perfect.

They destroyed her. They destroyed her. And we let them destroy her. What was McCain thinking when he threw her to the wolves of the affable Eva Braun. Katie Couric. And the rest of the jackals in the media.
Modern liberals like 1930s Nazis

Continuing:
We need fighters as fierce as on the left. And we're fighting for good. We're fighting for right. And we're fighting for reason. The right's answer is always to move to the left. And the left's answer is to always move further to the left. We're going to disappear.

You don't think it can't happen? Do me a favor. You start reading about Germany. You start reading about the late '20's. Weimarchts. The early 30's... I'm not saying that they're going to start building ovens. But what's inside is exactly the same.

If Sarah Palin were to step out from under a rock today and make some of the speeches she has, I'd agree - PERFECT CANDIDATE

However, as you said, they destroyed her in 08, to the point that she couldn't run today even if she wanted. The entire campaign would be a giant "BUT IT'S SARAH PALIN"

I don't even want to start down that path

Eric Dondero said...

Yes, I agree. So, what we need to do is to turn to every single family member, friend, business associate, co-worker who ever said a bad thing about Sarah Palin and spit in their bloody fucking faces.

Don't hold back: Even your sister, brother, NFL watching buddy. Spit in their fucking faces, and scream at them, YOU MOTHER FUCKER STUPID IDIOT. YOU FUCK ARE WHAT IS DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY. WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ELECT THE GREATEST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, AND PE0PLE LIKE YOU FUCKED IT UP!!!

Turn around, walk away, and never speak to them again.

Erich Domdero said...

You're now suggesting that people commit assault? Good job.

Eric Dondero said...

Oops, excuse me. Don't spit in their faces. Spit on the ground next to them. Was speaking "symbolically."

Thanks for that correction Domdero.

Erich Domdero said...

No prob!

Gary said...

Palin is yesterday's old bread. Rubio 2016.

Eric Dondero said...

Gary, the liberal media will come up with something on Marco. They'll blow it out of proportion. They will no doubt Palin-ize him.

We can't win. There's too much Democrat voter fraud. There are too many foreigners voting in U.S. elections. Or foreigners who only recently got "legal" so they can vote for Democrats.

Erich Domdero said...

Why did we lose? Any answer but the obvious one right? Your ideas are old and failed. And your plan is to double down on them. Hilarious.

Eric Dondero said...

Umm, okay, so we should move left, is that what you're suggesting? The whole country should move left, we have a communist party represented by the Democrats, and a communist lite party represented by the Republicans?

That's your brilliant solution big boy?

The Right Guy said...

The country already moved left.

Erich Domdero said...

And you want to move right! Welcome to obscurity!

The Right Guy said...

No, I want to move up to liberty, not left or right. Palin isn't going to run. I just threw it out there as red meat.

Erich Domdero said...

Eric wants to move right. But he also believes The President was re-elected by fraud so he's not exactly coming to grips with reality.

Eric Dondero said...

Domdero, no, you get me wrong. I don't want you to move right.

And Jim's wrong too. I don't want you to move to liberty.

I just want you to move away... far, far away from this website. As far away as you can get.

Chuck said...

"The country already moved left. "

No it didn't. The right didn't turn out. There hasn't been some huge change in the American electorate.

Erich Domdero said...

After 4 years building to the election, you failed. Miserably. The American electorate doesn't relate to you anymore.

The Right Guy said...

I never said it was a huge change, just creeping along, year after year.

The Right Guy said...

Eric:
Wrong about what? Moving up in regards to the Nolan chart? I don't expect anyone to move in that direction as expecting that would be futility. People like their big government, so do politicians. It's a match made in hell.

Eric Dondero said...

Jim, your wrong about Dumdero. We don't want him to move in our direction. We want him to move away.

Eric Dondero said...

Chuck, Dumdero is right. The country wants Marxism. We've had an influx of immigrants into this country last few years, and almost all of them support communism or naziism. They want government control over our lives. They reject individual freedom. They are not like hardworking immigrants from before. They're a new breed: Leaches, moochers who want to suck real Americans dry.

The Right Guy said...

I was talking about my point of view. For all we know he lives in Europe.

Erich Domdero said...

Again, look to blame everything but your shitty old ideas. You're obsessed with seatbelt laws for christs sake.

Eric Dondero said...

So, I get it. Our ideas are old, so they're not worthy. Imagine that. Ideas from the founding fathers - old guys - are "old."

The Right Guy said...

You forgot old white klansmen.

Jemas said...

Man, this post is you, and everything wrong with you, in a nutshell. And the comments, blaming other people for her failure, and advising you spit on (sorry, at) anyone who said anything bad about her? Adorable.

Let's consider a few things about Palin, shall we? These are not opinions, these are demonstrable FACTS. Consider them, will you?

FACT: As Mayor of Wasilla, Palin built a hockey arena that cost 15 Million dollars (Wasilla has an ANNUAL budget of 20 million). She paid for it by increasing sales tax by 25 percent.

FACT: When she was Governor of Alaska, Alaska was number one in Federal Spending per Resident, while it was 18th in Federal Taxes per resident (spending 8,500 more per person than it collected).

FACT: When Palin was Governor, Alaska collected the most taxes per resident in the country.

FACT: Palin endorsed the Bridge to Nowhere in her race for Governor before rejecting it when she was elected and when it was defeated, she kept the money.

FACT: As Mayor of Wasilla, Palin attempted to have the town librarian fired. Why? She resisted pressure to censor books Palin for offensive. Or is censorship libertarian? I can never keep these things straight.

And then there's the facts that you can argue don't matter, but that do.

She's ignorant and proud of it. I remember a moment in the HBO movie about her when she's giving the Katie Couric interview, and one of the advisers yells at the TV Screen "Name one fucking newspaper!" How can she lead the country when she can't name one thing she reads to keep abreast of world events?

How about her religious beliefs? Is the theocracy she wants to turn America into libertarian? I personally believe someone loses their qualifications to be President when they reject evolution in favor of creationism, but then I think this whole 'President must be Christian' thing is absurd as is.

So how is Palin the perfect candidate? Oh, I know, because she's a perfect symbol of you and your ideas: Ignorant, reactionary, backwards and idiotic. She's everything wrong with modern politics in a nutshell. So I'm glad she exists, so when people ask me what is ruining America, I can point to her and say 'That."

Eric Dondero said...

Obama is a Nazi. Palin is an American.

Nuff said.

Eric Dondero said...

Oh, and I spit in your face, Nazi-lover.

Eric Dondero said...

Sorry. One last thing.

Sarah Palin was born in the United States. Barack Hussein Muhammed Obama was not.

Now, nuff said.

Eric Dondero said...

Oh, and another thing. Sarah Palin always won her elections the old fashioned way - she earned her wins through hard work on the campaign trail.

Barack Hussein Muhammed Obama won his elections through voter intimidation and blatant fraud.

Now, nuff said.

Rational Nation USA said...

I said nothing about Palin not being American, nor did I say she didn't work hard and win her election to public office the right way w/out fraud. Personally I like the women. IMNHO I simply posit she is not of the timber to make a great leader. So, Eric, in your liberty world I am not entitled to these views?

By the way, IMNHO Obama is not of leadership timber either. Ronald Reagan, JFK, Dwight Eisenhower, And Harry Truman were. As was Barry Goldwater.

I think your all consuming hatred for Obama colors your ability to think rationally from time to time. And for spit, to crib Hance Garner, your spit ain't worth even being noticed.

Oh, I didn't know Obama was a Muhammed. I wonder If he knows.

I've never seen a president that didn't take responsibility for his performance like Obama, but then he never had to run for reelection in the senate or in Illinois. The guy is just a microcosm of our society where personal responsibility is shirked and it's always someone else's fault. You will see a lot of this attitude in prisons.

Erich Domdero said...

Why do you associate with this guy? He lives is a land of complete delusion. He is politically ignorant and obsessed with religious hatred. And potentially violent. I'd be embarrassed if he represented me. Not to mention his racial issues. And poor vocabulary and grasp of the English language.

I liked Sarah Palin and still like her. I wonder why she triggers so many varied emotional responses? My (ignorant) sister kept saying Sarah 'scared' her...This is all down to media portrayal. Though I still don't understand 'scared'...must have been pushed on some stupid morning show. Did they think she would shoot them?

Palin may not be leader material in the class of Reagan or Goldwater, but she is far better than McCain or Barry. Too bad the media and pundits ruin the chances of every good candidate in favor of twits like Barry and his ilk by appealing to the low-information, moronic classes.

I also think that if she had been elected, she would have represented the WHOLE country to the best of her ability. Even on the divisive social issues, she was classy and made it plain that she would leave it to the states. She has her opinions but she also understands people differ.

But it's all too late. It will take a very unusual conservative to break the Democrat fraud machine. Bill Whittle had something when he said it will be someone from pop culture.

Rubio is not eligible. Both his parents were not U.S. Citizens. Obummer isn't eligible for the same reason. We need to follow the U.S. CONSTITUTION.

The Right Guy said...

Rubio was born in Miami, stunad and as far as Obama goes, his mother was American, so that makes him American.

The best leader for America will be a person that finally makes us take our medicine and gets us on the road out of debt, out of the U.N. stops the, trade imbalance with China, and starts firing all the useless federal employees. Our govt is the problem.Tax EVERYONE at 15% no exceptions or loopholes. We can't have non taxpayers voting themselves more of someone elses hard earned money.

Both parents have to be U.S. citizens according to our laws.

The Right Guy said...

Go back to school or the rock you crawled out from under, whichever if shorter:

"Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) may be president of the United States, though from time to time that requirement is called into question, most recently after Arnold Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, was elected governor of California, in 2003. The Constitution originally provided a small loophole to this provision: One needn't have been born in the United States but had to be a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted. But, since that occurred in 1789, that ship has sailed."

The US parents only apply to those born abroad. Rubio was born here, so he's good to go.

Just because you were born here doesn't make you eligible to be President. Both parents have to be U.S. citizens. If you don't like old white men, quit using all their inventions; freedom,electricity,light,cars,medicines,etc.etc.

The Right Guy said...

I am afraid it does, that is what the law is. Now go back to mississippi or whatever klan infested shithole you come from, dig a hole and bury yourself in it, waiting for the resurrection of Jefferson Davis.

The Right Guy said...

At least Wesley McGranor is entertaining.

Michael Patrick said...

Most recently was John McCain. Man you sure text tough don't ya tough guy.

The Right Guy said...

John mccain was born abroad but both parents were american. Rubio is native born, so there are no qualifiers. Our esteemed Hector Portillo from Mexico City could become president of the US because he was born here.

Michael Patrick said...

It looks to be you are correct. You can be born to illegal aliens on U.S. soil and be considered a naturalized citizen and be eligible for President. Doesn't seem right that persons who have never fought for this country can step in and start running things.Just my opinion.

The Right Guy said...

I've never fought for this country and neither has 95% of the population, if not more. If that is eligibility, you'll have a tiny pool to choose from and it would be a de facto oligarchy.

Erich Domdero said...

Your opinion is fucking stupid.

Jemas said...

Ahh, thanks Eric. Your response was well thought out, intelligent, mature and most importantly, addressed the facts that I presented you with.

Here are some other facts, things that may blow your mind. Are you ready?

Obama won both his elections legitimately. I know, it's crazy, but it's true. And you know what else is true? Obama was born in America, same as Palin. I know, following all of the available evidence instead of trusting your delusions is weird, but it's true.

But you're right, Palin is an American. So is Obama. In fact, together they represent two different factions in America, so perfectly it's actually a little disconcerting.

Obama represents understanding, tolerance, compromise, intelligence, education, the kind of American I am. The kind of American who wants to help move America forward, to make it a better country, to help it continue to be a great country.

Palin represents the kind of American you, you Eric Dondero, are. The kind who wants to tear down the government, damage our standing in the world stage, reduce us to poverty, destroy human rights, put our government massively in debt and change this beautiful democracy to a theocracy. You might not realize that's what you want (most of your ideas that would destroy this country are grounded in ignorance, not malice) but it's what would happen.

I've always found it hilarious that Republicans are so swift to claim that Democrats and Liberals hate America, when you're the ones who's ideas would destroy it, who want to break up the union over losing a fucking election. Your policies would leave America destitute, it's people unemployed and homeless, it government in the hands of religious fanatics and it's standing in the world stage in ruins.

Hunter Thompson went to Las Vegas in 1971 to search for the American Dream. He found it to be a lame fuck around, a waste of time. I've never entirely agreed with his assessment that the American Dream is dead, but if it is, it's people like you who killed it.

Looks like Obama has done a lot of that himself. The theocracy he preaches is that of the state...And it's on his watch our debt continues to increase, rights erode and poverty increases. Say what you want about Palin, but she hasn't been elected as president and isn't responsible for it. It's time Obama steps up and takes responsibility for his job, four years late. He's the anti-truman.

Fay said...

If you think Sarah Palin is done for, I suggest you watch her CPAC 2012 speech one more time. Not an ounce of defeat in that amazing woman! She's just waiting on God's timing and direction. As her Dad said, "She'll be back!"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=tXsrajvFGk8

Rational Nation USA said...

God's timing? Really? Just wondering if you realize how absurd that statement really is.

Obviously not or you wouldn't have made ot.

Jemas said...

And this is why you think those things. As I said, not malice, ignorance.

The fact is, the majority of the current debt was accrued during the Bush years. No, no, no, no, I don't want to hear any argument, it's true. Here, I'll prove it:

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zeoMD3KyiYM/TOH6gdPVisI/AAAAAAAAAyQ/5w7yjIvJ8aU/s1600/US_Federal_Debt_as_Percent_of_GDP_by_President.jpg

Take a long look at that, look at it. See, economies don't turn on a dime. He is working hard to fix the economy, and his policies would fix it, and the rate we are accruing national debt is slowing down. Also unemployment is dropping, but I'm sure you have a way to tell me that it's actually a conspiracy.

As for the rest, it's patently absurd (which might as well be the motto of this site). What rights have you lost under Obama? How has he pushed for a theocracy?

I'll wait while you come up with answers for those comments.
