Father dons his Marine uniform to guard his children's school

Could it spark a nationwide trend? Fathers, retired military, retired cops, volunteering to guard public schools?

by Clifford F. Thies

News Channel 5 is reporting that Marine Sergeant Jordan Pritchard, now a PFC ("poor effing civilian"), has pulled his old uniform down from the attic, in order to stand guard at the elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee, where his children attend. He will stand guard until Wednesday, when school releases for the winter break. He says, "the only way that happiness and true peace and hope will come back to our nation is when we all come back together and love each other."

Yes, sir, Marine Sergeant!

This is obviously intrusive. The notion that schools need to be safer; is bogus.
