The "Dondero alternative" for Thanksgiving weekend with the family

Excerpted, "MSNBC tells readers how to 'zing' conservatives at Thanksgiving dinner" The Examiner, reporter, Joe Newby Nov. 23:
On Wednesday, MSNBC gave readers advice on how to speak to conservatives at the family Thanksgiving dinner with a list of what it calls the "top 10 comebacks to use against the family conservative."

The article starts with the arrogant presumption that "every" family has at least one "hardcore conservative" who ruins the family get-together with political discussions demeaning liberals.

"Usually you just keep your head down and stare into your turkey and try not to make eye contact with anyone. Then the next morning in the shower you remember what you should have said in response," MSNBC adds.

"But this year’s going to be different. Why? Because here at MSNBC, we’ve anticipated crazy Uncle Gary’s top talking points...
Continuing:
There is an alternative, however.

One can always adopt the advice of Eric Dondero Rittberg, who says he is purging every Democrat from his life.

“Everybody I know that voted for Obama is dead to me," he said. “I don’t want to talk to them again. I don’t want to see them again. I won’t even attend their funeral. The nation committed suicide on November 6.”

On Thanksgiving, Rittberg gave another piece of advice while blogging from Mexico.

"I hope that the readers of Libertarian Republican will take this opportunity to criticize and bash all of your family members around the Thanksgiving Day table, who voted for Obama. Be especially nasty. Do not hold back. They are enemies of freedom and need to be treated as such," he wrote at Libertarian Republican.

Especially the assholes who call themselves "libertarian" while working to elect democrats.

May they rot in hell.

Who are these assholes trying to shit? Nothing but projection; plain, and simple!

Leftists are first and foremost a bunch of bigots.

I just wanted to drop by after the election and say the following:

It is because of your mentality that we have Obama again as a President. You & others were happy to play the "RASISSSSTH" card against Ron Paul & Libertarian Republicans. Now the Left has successfully used it against us Republicans in the general election. You were glad to use this vile strategy when it benefited you, but whine when you get your comeuppance.

Anyways, I'm out. Agora action!

I don't think it was the "racist" card that Obama used against Republicans that worked. Yeah, there was some of that "hate Whitey" racist vote out there.

I just think it's the Moocher card. There are just way too many moochers now in society, white, black, brown, red and yellow. Too many takers, and not enough makers.

Maybe you're a liberal, who just likes to think of himself as a "libertarian," cause it sounds cool or something.

No good libertarian EVER votes Democrat! Democrats are the exact polar opposite of libertarians in every way.

They even suck these days on civil liberties issues. Was a time in the 1970s when Dems were about personal freedoms. Now they're about the nanny-state, seat belt laws, a big bad DEA cracking down on marijuana store owners, and a 21 year old drinking age. They're social Nazis. In addition to their Nazi/Communist views on economics.

There's now such thing as a "Nazi libertarian." As there is no justification ever for any libertarian to support the Democrats.

Chuck said...

"Nonsense does not help the libertarian cause."

Neither do obsessed bigots like you. Thanks for nothing, Asshole.

The Right Guy said...

What is the libertarian cause? I'd like to know as I am part of that party now.

Eric Dondero said...

free market economics, drug legalization, oppose foreign aid, skeptical of foreign intervention.

That about covers it.

The Right Guy said...

I guess I am halfway there.

Sure, but please stop calling yourself a libertarian. You're embarrassing the rest of us.

Democrats suck Donkey Dick. And they suck Adolph Hitler dick, as well.

The Right Guy said...

Actually Eric, after Romney lost, I left the GOP and reregistered as a libertarian. Not that it matters how I would vote per se, but at least I won't be getting the junk mail or robocalls.

Eric Dondero said...

Actually Jim, that is the only other political party that I would ever recommend anyone joining other than the GOP.

But you'll soon find there's some crazies in the Arizona Libertarian Party. Talk to Renzulli. He's got some stories about the ALP.

The Right Guy said...

I doubt I will be going to any meetings. I met enough wacky paul supporters at the caucuses in Iowa. I am sort of a LINO.

" Explain to me what is libertarian about neocon, theocon, corporatist Rick Santorum."

He supports traditional American freedoms and always has. That's not enough to satisfy a shit-eating, hate-filled bigot like you, though. Go back to the Huffinglue Post, you leftist fuckwad.

Because you're smart and stuff. That's why.

Thanks for the confirmation, leftard.

OK, so we have RINOs and LINOs. I suppose there's DINOs. What if we still had a Whig Party? What would they be?

jgeleff said...

Like what? What are these traditional freedoms he supports. I don't see it.

Chuck said...

Then you aren't looking. Either that, or you're one of these fools who say the US has never been a free country.

Chuck, you made the assertion that Santorum "supports traditional American freedoms and always has". Support that, if you would.

Chuck said...

"Go ask the ladies in your lives if government-mandated transvaginal ultrasounds are libertarian."

Go ask the whores in your life if their unborn children get shredded to pieces "transvaginally" or if there's another way, you retarded bigot.

Chuck said...

" Support that, if you would. "

No need to, dumbass. You list the traditionally American freedoms he opposes. You can either do that or you agree with me and we're done with your shit stupid sophistry.

Get on with it. I'm sure you're going to impress the fuck out of everyone reading.

Chop chop. Time's a wastin', Sport.

Chuck said...

To elect democrats. It will never be anything else either.

The best part Chuck is that I won't be getting robocalls or junk mail. They don't have the money for that. Technically I should have registered independent, but I figured I would take some sort of ersatz stand on paper.

Chuck said...

I understand. I'm constantly getting crap from everybody wanting money. I still the the Republican Party is the only organization that can do what we need done. The democrat party is basically a totalitarian entity now. The libertarian party has no power except to swing close elections to democrats.

The Right Guy said...

If it's going to get things done, it's going to have to do better in getting elected, whatever that is. I am still wondering what happened. Honestly, I really thought this was in the bag. It's like most of the society is on Soma or took the blue pill. Some might say there is wisdom in the electorate, but I fail to see it here, unless there is some other machination that is happening that will steer the party or recreate it better than it is.

We both assumed that we were in a country with a whole lot of people like us. People who can see what's happening and couldn't wait to be a part of stopping it.

The base didn't turn out. The people who should've been our most reliable allies stayed home.

Conservative/libertarian positions are still the majority positions. It doesn't matter if it doesn't materialize into votes, and this has shit to do with having perfect candidates. Romney ran a more conservative campaign than Reagan did. These people who carp about him being some sort of liberal republican are simply delusional. We've never a better candidate. The fault is in our side of the electorate. A certain percentage of the right is waiting around for a Moses to show up. That's the problem.

I don't know what's sadder, that Romney supporters are still angry, confused and eating sour grapes more than two weeks after the election, or that Dondero thinks heckling the Democrats at the Thanksgiving table will actually do something that's supposed to mean something. I mean, why should anyone listen to the ravings of someone who still sits at the kid's table. Sad that immaturity is still the answer, but good for the rest of us, because as long as this is how you insist on being about it, you'll only make it easier for the Dems to gain the majority back in 2014 and bring about a good end to the Obama Presidency. So go ahead and rot in your own pissed off little world. It'll keep you out of grown folks business. Seriously, you're all about as worrisome as a cloudy day.

" I mean, why should anyone listen to the ravings of someone who still sits at the kid's table."

Yeah. Maturity is what elected Brakabama. Keep telling yourself that, Einstein.

Why is it that even the ass-lickers in the press who cheered for his incompetent ass called his reelection a "second chance"? It's a tacit admission that the guy sucks but they wanted him anyway.

Kid's table? Indeed.

Chuck said...

You scum put your filthy party before your country. There's nothing else worth knowing about you.

The Right Guy said...

BO is the affirmative action candidate. If he had been white or any other race, he wouldn't be president. The guy has no political or business experience that would qualify him for the job or even suggest he knows what he is doing. Even his academics are a mystery as he won't release transcripts or even how he paid for college.

You could have a lottery like the powerball and come up with a better person to be president and for this we sit at the kids table? All I have to say is the thing speaks for itself. The biggest hoax has been perpetrated on the american people. Mazel Tov. I hope you like the results.

Chuck said...

"The biggest hoax has been perpetrated on the american people."

This is the inevitable result of a nation being systematically trained to hate itself. The left is lousy with it, but read Reason, Lew Rockwell and the gaggle of sanctimonious freaks who've been posting here lately, and one thing races to the fore: they really don't like this country very much and they're exceedingly proud of that. It gives their lives meaning.

No election will change that, and certainly no candidate will.

jgeleff said...

"You list the traditionally American freedoms he opposes."

Fuck you. You made an assertion. It is incumbent upon you to support, not for me to support YOUR assertion. These are the rules. Too lazy to bother?

Chuck said...

That's what I thought. Nothing.

You never disappoint, jigglejeff. You're a total flake.

You can't even find a single, traditional American freedom Rick Santorum opposes. Not one.

" These are the rules."

No, dumbass. If you're going to call something I've said untrue, the onus is on you to demonstrate how. You should have learned this in early childhood. Were you raised by stray dogs?
Your lack of integrity is exceeded only by your lack of intellect.
