Stunning Post-Election News! Jewish Democrat State Senator in NY, switches to GOP

Simcha Felder defeated the Republican incumbent just last week

by Eric Dondero

The New York State Senate is split right down the middle between Republicans and Democrats. There are still two outstanding races pending recounts. Nobody knows yet who will ultimately control the upper legislative body. But the odds may have just tilted in the GOP's favor.

The NY Times reports, "Newly Elected State Senator Defects to Republican Party":
The Republican Party, which emerged from Election Day with its leadership of the State Senate in serious doubt, persuaded a Brooklyn Democrat to switch sides on Tuesday, increasing the odds that Republicans would retain control of the chamber.

Follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook for news and conversation. The Democrat, Simcha Felder, a former city councilman who is a deputy to the New York City comptroller, John C. Liu, defeated a Republican incumbent, David Storobin, last week. Mr. Felder had said he was open to aligning himself with the party that best served the needs of his district, and on Tuesday he announced his decision after meeting with the Senate majority leader, Dean G. Skelos, a Long Island Republican.

“I have enormous respect for the senators from both parties, but I must choose to caucus with those senators who will best serve the communities I represent,” Mr. Felder said, citing economic development, education and taxation as among his concerns.

Yes. It is becoming much more difficult for a Jew to be on the party of jihadists, as missiles are raining down on Israel. It is time for every other Jew in this country to take a serious look in the mirror and realize that to remain a Democrat means to wash your hands in blood of other Jews.

Leftist Jews are leftists first and Jews in name only.

Ex-Dissident, you've got it only half-right. It's now time for all right-leaning Jews, libertarians and conservatives, to yell and scream and cuss at every single one of our mother fucking relatives who voted for that slimeball Marxist Muslim in the White House Obama.

Do not attend Thanksgiving dinner, or Hanukah ceremonies, or Shabat, or any family function if any of your Obama-supporting relatives will be there.

Cast them out of your life for the rest of your life. May their names be damned! Any Jew who voted for Obama is no better than the Jews who voted for Hitler in 1933.

Obama is the single most pro-Israel president since Truman.

In the current situation, Reagan would be getting off the phone right now after telling Netanyahu to go fuck himself.

The old Eric would cuss and argue with Tom Knapp.

The new Eric just holds his breath, sighs, and just hope and prays that Tom Knapp will come to understand that those of us who are Jewish see Obama as nothing less than a reincarnation of Adolph Hitler.

Eric Dondero said...

Tom, isn't this wild, this NY Senator jumping to GOP a week after he beat the GOP incumbent?

Doesn't get any crazier than that in American politics.

Forget ideology for a sec. From a purely political junkie perspective you gotta admit it's rather entertaining.

KN@PPSTER said...

"those of us who are Jewish see Obama as nothing less than a reincarnation of Adolph Hitler."

Except, of course, for the 69% of American Jews who voted for his re-election.

Eric Dondero said...

Who are all self-hating Jews, traitors to their race.

Remember, in 1933, a number of Jews voted for Hitler to be chancellor of Germany.

Why should it be any different in 2012?

Chuckles with another ignorant remark. You ought start your own blog Chuckles, you could call it Chuck Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

KN@PPSTER said...

"Remember, in 1933, a number of Jews voted for Hitler to be chancellor of Germany."

Nope. Not only did a number of Jews not vote for Hitler to be chancellor of Germany, nobody else did, either. Chancellor was an appointed position. The only person who "voted" for Hitler to fill the position was the president, Paul von Hindenburg.

Gary said...

Hindenburg only called up the leader of the largest party in parliament to try and form a government.

The position of Chancellor had little power. It was the majority coalition of Nazi and non-Nazi parties that voted in dictatorship.

Chuck said...

Germany decided to be a Nazi state. They weren't "taken over" by some temporal swoon. They did what they wanted to do. They did it well.

Very well.

Gary said...

Chuck is mostly correct. But the elections were not free when you had tens of thousands of thug brown shirts intimidating voters and opposition parties.

Chuck said...

Elections only determine some things, Gary.

The German people were complicit in what went down. So were the American people to a certain degree. We're all to blame.

We watched Stalin kill tens of millions. We watched Mao kill more than that.

Sure Tom. Obama made his amazing love and support for Israel clear during his visit to Israel's capital.

Next thing we'll hear from you is that Obama is the greatest friend to the 2nd Amendment that America ever had.

As for you "Rational" - go fuck-off to your own boring, stupid blog. Chuck happens to be right. For the record.

I have only recently subscribed to this website and the blogs of one, Eric Dondero. Bring far away in Australia, and having visited the USA frequently since as far back as 1967, I have followed your politics with great interest. I am a self employed business owner, and have been for at least 30 years, so in your country I guess I would be expected to vote Republican.

Unfortunately, I perceive Mr Dondero to be a complete "rat-bag" with a very insecure grasp of the English language! Does he really imagine that language like "mother fucking" and "slimeball Marxist Muslim" impresses anyone with an IQ above 90?

At my present age of 66, and having travelled the world a damn side more than Mr Dondero evidently has, can I say that his rantings come across as the cries of a spoilt child whose mother has just told him he may not have the lolly he wants!

It is just a shame there is not a thoughtful mother around who can spank his backside!

Tom:

Here's a link to a campaign poster for Hitler, in 1933 (might have been '32). He most certainly ran for office and was elected.

No one is trying to impress you, you self-righteous asshole. Mind your own business.

Mike Butler: And tell me why I should give a flying fuck what you think of my English language skills. I'm a Navy Vet, which entitles me to speak whatever way I fuckin' please.

You say you've traveled the world more than I? Are you sure about that?

Been to 26 different nations on 5 continents, including a 7-day stint in Perth, Australia.

Oh, and I speak about a dozen languages, 5 fluently. All self-taught.

Don't know what my I.Q. is, but Dr. Barry Farber, NYC radio talk show host and a multi-linguist himself once had me on his show to test my language skills. An hour long of grilling on top-rated NYC radio. He pronounced me the most multilingual American he'd ever met.

Oh, and nice thing you follow the website and all. But frankly, these days we don't need your patronage. We have far more than enough traffic here. Go find another website to troll, thank you.

Gary, at the time of the elections in Germany in the 1930s you also had thug Communists pushing voters on the other side of Hitler. It was equal opportunity thuggery. So, you can't just say that Hitler won because of voter intimidation.

As Chuck says, Hitler won an election pretty much fair and square. The voters voted him into office.

Just as they've done the Marxist Muslim now occupying our White House.

Marxist Muslim, neither have been proven to be factual. Just a theory that history will prove or disprove. But, it sells well in certain circles.

Let's see Mike,

1) The president went to the Chicago office on one Saul "The Red" Alinsky, (a devotee of karl marx) where he learned "cuhmooniteh organizing."

While it can be argued that Obama is not a pure marxist it can not be argued that his stated policy preferences are not heavily influenced in the favor of marxist ideals. They are in fact "Progressive" ideals born of the Communist Manifesto. Look it up.

As for Obama's being a muslim, even his "Christian" pastor, Wright, had admitted that Obama is muslim on the one hand but needed to adjust his message on the other. (Wright had previously come from the Nation of islam.) While it can be argued that Obama is not a pure muslim, it can not be argued that he has demonstrated great sympathy towards them.

Thus the rhetorical use of the term "marxist muslim" correctly points out the obvious: Obama has repeatedly demonstrated antipathy to our Constitution of Liberty and to the Judeo-Christian values that underpin it.

As to you, Butler... You're free to take cheap-shots at anyone's use of English as you see fit. If you're going to make ad-hominem arguments, well *asshole*... do us all a favour and next time ground your arguments in fact. Is that clear and properly "English" enough for you?

KN@PPSTER said...

"The president went to the Chicago office o[f] one Saul "The Red" Alinsky"

Highly unlikely, given that Alinsky died when Obama was 10 years old and in the process of moving from Indonesia back to Hawaii.

Or perhaps all this happened in the alternate universe where Obama is anti-Israel and Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany?

Ran / SVP said...

It's a matter of Obama's record, according to his biography (dunno which.) I don't know who ran the office in the day. Does it matter? Saul's office may still be in business today: Law offices being incorporated and theoretically immortal.

The substance of Obama's claim is correct: Obama chose marxist professors, had communist parents and was surrounded all his life by his closest advisors and parent role models of one marxist variety or another. He chose an office with communists and radicals in it's past to earn his creds. No surprises here.

Beware the alternate universe thing. It'll bite your ass.

KN@PPSTER said...

Ran,

A couple of problems with that.

1) Alinsky wasn't a lawyer and didn't operate a law firm; and

2) Alinsky was not only not a Marxist, but had a knockdown-dragout with the Marxists fairly early on in his career (when he supported US intervention in World War II while the Marxists were still parroting the Soviet line during the Nazi-Soviet "non-aggression pact" timeframe).

Actually, more than a couple of problems, but those are the first two that jump right out at ya.

Ran / SVP said...

Thanks for the heads-up. Wiki seems to agree with you. Alinsky never did wrap around marxism in full.

Look, Tom, I didn't claim that Alinsky himself was an attorney. I don't know or care if it was a law office of not. Bets it was the IAF? Errors of detail on my part - apparent or real - do not change the facts of the case, do they?

I do recall saying something like "While it can be argued that Obama is not a pure marxist it can not be argued that his stated policy preferences are not heavily influenced in the favor of marxist ideals. They are in fact "Progressive" ideals born of the Communist Manifesto" - words to that effect - but at my age, memory ain't what it once was.

In 1859, Charles Dickens wrote that great novel "A Tale of Two Cities"! Probably the most famous line in that classic tale was "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done." I regard my withdrawal from your toxic, uneducated, unintellectual, (and boring) website in the same manner!

I wish you and your cretins all the best, but unfortunately intellectual sludge tends to gum up rational thinking --- so the further away from you lot I can get --- the happier I will be!
