Peter Schiff shows how a liberal arts degree in today's Obama economy pretty much a ticket to nowhere

The most Brilliant video you will see all day. Guaranteed!

From Eric Dondero:

Stick with it. It's a good 5 minutes long. But it will have you splitting your sides with laughter.

My personal favorite, the guy about 1 1/2 minutes in working at a Pizzeria with a 4-year degree. Also quite interesting, a guy or two who admit on camera that they don't even bother paying back the taxpayers any more for their student grants and loans.

Schiff is a hardline libertarian economist who frequently appears on Fox Business and CNBC. His father, Irwin Schiff is a tax protester who sought the Libertarian Party nomination for President in 2000. He now sits in a federal jail cell in Connecticut for speaking out against the IRS and criticizing income taxes.

America is really letting it's youth down.

@jgeleff: Funny, my analysis is the clueless youth vote just let America down.

It's all about the rights of gays to marry don't you know, and protecting a women's rights to take money from taxpayers to fund her abortions and contraceptives.

The economy be damned!

How 'bout those guys in the video who say they don't even bother paying off their student loans any more.

While their predicament is not surprising, their likely choice of presidential candidate in 2012 certainly is. I'm guessing they're not all Mensa material, which is not to say they are dumb, just too easily manipulated and/or stubbornly resistant to the obvious.

Any way its sliced, I quite depressing.

Silly boy that bartender, he has made an admission against interest. He can now expect Arne Duncan to order a SWAT team raid on his living space. Don't laugh, it's happened before.

People come here from China, India and Mexico without college degrees and start so-called "menial" businesses like restaurants, bars, farms or stop-and-rob stores.

There is a snobbery among people like Schiff. He thinks you cannot be happy unless you are living in a white collar cubical Dilbert Hell.

Schiff isn't living in a hell. Don't see him advocating anyone else do so either.

I just graduated with a degree in history and I'm having a lot of luck in my job search... I don't think its the degree that leaves a person jobless in most cases; instead it is the person's personal motivation to find a job.

It didn't sound like he was being a snob, to me. He was simply pointing out that one doesn't really need to get $90,000 in debt to work at these jobs. I was expecting to see only business or English degrees but there were some real subjects in this! Depressing.
