Moocher Zombies now rule America

From Republican Liberty Caucus National Chairman Dave Nalle via Facebook:
It came to me why zombie dramas like "Walking Dead" have become so popular. They mirror and magnify the situation we face in America today where the majority of the population have become mindless, shambling creatures who consume everything around them and produce nothing.

Hehe. Well said.

What percentage of Americans would you estimate "produce nothing"? It seems like a kind of silly claim to me.

Get real, Weldon.

"Productivity" is far more than material items and services.

It encompasses Culture and Art, individual service to our fellow man in need, protection of one's property and moral integrity, the raising of one's family and the protection of one's local community - in short, the legacy of our choices and actions accumulated over time.

The reality of it is that we have a "consumer" zombie culture infecting the producer culture. Yes, it is a disease - a parasite. Ours is not the first. Go look up "bread and circuses" with the fall of Rome.

Homework, pal. Homework. They didn't assign reality in "Sociology 1010."

Didn't we see how well this argument worked out for Mitt? Please keep telling half the country they're moochers and keep loosing elections.

Chuck said...

Yeah. Loosing.

Ran / SVP said...

That wasn't Mitt's message, was it? No.

Your assumptions are
A) based in false premises, and
B) fail to account for the low turn-out of the Libertarian & conservative Base.

Try again. No, on second thought, don't waste your time or ours.

I don't know for sure, but everything tells me that we lost because we weren't unified. The democrat message is one of nothing but dependency and deviancy. They're unified in that. On the other side, there are competing factions throwing around stupid ass terms like "neocon" and "rino". There were enough people claiming Romney a "liberal" that the low information voters on our side decided to say fuckit and stay home. Romney didn't do enough to embrace the real right wing, but he shouldn't have had to. Right now there are proud assholes beaming about jerking off to Gary Johnson instead of actually supporting a candidate whop was in the race. These people are insane and will never be reached. The first thing we need to do is realize they aren't on our side and they never were.

The majority produces nothing? Now that is mindless and rEpublican zombie talk absolutely.

Brakabama appreciates your support, worm.

Eric Dondero said...

Andrew Morton, did you actually say what I think you said?

Romney didn't call anyone moochers. That's the problem. That's why he lost. And that's why he didn't get more enthusiastic support among rightwingers. Many of whom just sat on their hands, and stayed home.
