Even as a New Yorker, I can say please put down the crackpipe. The reason the Union won the Civil War was a superior industrial base. Hate to break it to you, but what's left of that in the U.S. is NOT in the hipster blue states. Now, compare military training rates, red and blue. It would be a two week war.
You know, it's pretty pathetic that the leftists here are pining as much for a libertarian secession as anyone else. Not because of a genuinely liberal desire to see men free to live life on their own terms. Not even so that they can be free to build the society they want free of conservative or libertarian interference. No. They want it because they have the sick, violent desire to invade, to subjugate their fellow citizens. I'm glad to know that that's what motivates them.

Just saw an article, Louisianans already hard at work. Started a petition drive to state legislators for secession. Wow, thought Texas would be first.
