If the trailer (it isn't a movie, and from what I can find, there is no movie) were the problem, I would suggest... we need many more such movies(trailers), books, discussions. I think we do, but that is missing the point and a red herring.
The problem is, we don't actually know what the murderous rampage really is about, most likely just a follow through on the first 9/11, at least in part for sending an openly gay embassary to a known radical backwards muslim nation. But anything that will cause them to group up and attack, wherever they are, makes it easier to remove them, makes even liberals call for action, and justifies clearly what should have been taking place already (if potentially much more quietly).
All good, all good. Now, to get the people who will do the right things to power.

Well, there was a Muslim protest in Dearborn. But it wasn't a violent protest against the film. It was a silent vigil in condemnation of the Islamists' violence.
