First Photos emerge of Ambassador Stevens body being dragged through the streets of Benghazi by Libyan Islamists

It is with a heavy heart that we've decided to run this. Earlier this morning I first caught word that the Ambassador's body had been dragged through the streets. However, even the most hardened counter-Jihad sites or foreign media had not yet had any photos.
Just minutes ago, this video emerged. We may be the first news site to run it?
Note - There are conflicting reports that he was killed by a missile attack that hit his offices at the embassy. Other reports suggest that he was killed in his car fleeing the embassy, and that two U.S. Marines rushed to the car to drag his body out, but were then shot to death by Libyans invading the embassy grounds.
Important note: I won't be at all surprised if YouTube pulls this video, perhaps from pressure from the White House.

With that out of the way, this attack in Libya comes directly from the unconstitutional war the US waged against Muammar Gaddafi that turned Libya into a clusterfuck.
Gaddafi was working with the US since the Bush administration. But the US executive branch on its own waged war to overthrow the Libyan government.
There should have been an impeachment, but neither party gives a crap about the Constitution.

It's a free speech issue. Listen to what the Islamists themselves are saying. They're not out in the streets of Cairo and Benghazi demonstrating against US foreign policy. They're demonstrating against a friggin' movie!

The attack on the embassy was about the movie.
But if Gaddafi had still been running the place, it wouldn't have happened for at least two reasons. First, the people likely to put together a crowd to attack an embassy over the matter would have been in jail (not because Gaddafi liked the US, but because an attack on an embassy would have embarrassed his regime). Secondly, if such a crowd had begun to form, his police would have dispersed it immediately.
I cannot believe I'm saying this.
I agree completely with Tom. If Gaddafi would have been there, this never would have happened.

I agree -- in addition to it being about the movie, it's about making hay with the anniversary of 9/11.
Any word on how Muslims are marking the anniversary here in the US? I recently moved and am now just down the road from the second-largest mosque in the St. Louis area (congregation of 1000 or so and planning a madrasa). Didn't see any great flurries of activity or anything.

If these attacks were staged, that implies a plan and a goal.
If there's a goal that pertains to the US, it would seem to be to boost the prospects of Mitt Romney over Barack Obama, since these events tend to benefit the former and hurt the latter.
So I guess the question for "libertarian Repblicans" is "why do you support the same candidate as al Qaeda?"
