Libertarian Party candidate polling 7%
From Eric Dondero:
Doesn't get any better than this for Libertarian Republicans. The Republican candidate for North Carolina Governor is comfortably ahead of the Democrat nominee in North Carolina, even with the presence of a viable Libertarian Party candidate in the race, Barbara Howe.

Hedgehog:
GOVERNOR – NORTH CAROLINA (PPP)
Pat McCrory (R) 45%
Walter Dalton (D) 38%
Barbara Howe (L) 7%
That's 52% for liberty, a paltry 38% for statism.
Interesting Note - Barbara Howe, a diehard Gary Johnson-ite, is a long-distance runner who participates in various 5K runs for charitable causes, throughout North Carolina.

The Republican Party is for the most part the Moral Statist Party.
The Democrats are the Economic Statist Party.
Your belief that the Republicans generally stand for Liberty flies in the face of the obvious evidence.
Just watch - The Rs will start pulling their Moral Socialism act out of the bag once they get elected and they will start the cycle all over.
We are getting squeezed between two statists parties and you are aiding and abetting.
I can understand expediency, but yon are starting to sound like a believer.
You don't believe in anything but drugs. Nothing you have to say matters.
So, the Republicans are the "Moral Statist Party"? Really? How's that again?
Which Party wants to force me to wear a seat belt in my car?
Why Party wants to take away my guns?
Which Party wants to draft young men into National Service?
Which Party wants to tax cigarettes and tax alcohol?
Which Party has a president that's telling the BATF to raid marijuana dispenseries in California?
