Newton, we have a problem

Trekkie convention coincidentally, just in time for the Nevada GOP primary

by Clifford F. Thies

The last thing Newton Einstein Gingrich needs after the shellacking he took in the last debate is a bridge collapsing because a ship loaded with space equipment rammed into it. But, there it is.

Click on this link (UK Daily Mail) to see this stunning photo.
Incredible images emerged of a hulking freighter wearing mangled pieces of a steel bridge on its bow after a collision in southwestern Kentucky Thursday night.

In the pictures, the 312-foot Delta Mariner idles, still partially in the bridge's path, and clearly looks much too large to fit beneath the aging Eggner Ferry Bridge, which crosses the Kentucky Lake Reservoir.

The cargo vessel was carrying space rocket parts for the United Launch Alliance, intended for a vehicle that was scheduled to be shot into orbit from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
Additional; Hey, Newt fans, while many events are already sold out, some choice tickets still remain for the 2012 Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas. Following this link for all the details:

"(Ron Paul supporters) fit a stereotype. They're almost all 9/11 Truthers. They live in moma's basement. They're extreme computer geeks. They play video games 24 hours a day. They listen to Alex Jones. They're obsessed with the silly issue of 'the Fed', which actually means those 'Jewish bankers.' Far too many of them hate Jews." -Eric comment from yesterday

I saw this on a comment thing from yesterday and I feel it has to be addressed... This absolutely proves that Eric is in NO WAY an individualist. He collectivizes everyone into groups. If there is one person in a group that does something that means to Eric that everyone else in the group either is doing it, condones it or should be doing it if they aren't. From Islam to Ron Paul to the Republican Party Eric sees people in groups instead of as individuals. A true libertarian looks at people based on the content of their own personal character and no one else's.

P.S.: I would like to point out that I do NOT live in my parent's basement. I rarely play video games, I don't know the first thing about techy stuff, and I have absolutely nothing against Jews as a group. What I do resent is the federal reserve being given unlimited reign over the devaluation of our dollar. If we don't do something about the fed soon our economy will crash harder than the Bills did in the second half of this season. The Fed is FAR from a "silly issue". I can also say that I have NEVER listened to Alex Jones. EVER. I personally think the dude is a nut, but there are nuts that support every candidate in the race. Some nuts just have bigger pulpits than others.

James Joseph, why would you put a meaningless, bullshit issue above Islamo-Fascism as a threat to our liberties?

It's the Islamist that wants to force my beautiful wife to wear an ugly black burqa from head to toe that scares me 1,000 times more than Ben Bernanke.

Does Ben Bernanke want to force me to wear a seat belt in my car? Does Bernanke care what movies I watch at night, or what music I listen too? Does Big Ben give a hoot about my personal sex life? Does he want to execute my gay friends by hanging them from the neck, or stone prostitutes to death in town squares?

Inflation? Fuuuuuuck. I could care less.

You want to stike a blow for liberty on the economic front? ABOLISH THE IRS.

But central banking is ok in your book... CENTRALIZED banking as in FEDERALLY CONTROLLED. Eric, I have come to the conclusion that you have some kind of personal vendetta against Ron Paul and you just really hate Muslims. you are a racist and a disgrace to the term "libertarian" and with that I say good day.

So now opposing Pope Ron Paul makes you a racist?

What next?
