Paul/Ventura 2012: A Truther on the Ticket?

Fmr. Wrestler suggests 3rd party run with the Libertarian Party

From Eric Dondero:

Former Minnesota Independent Governor Jesse Ventura is making some news. Ventura is one of the most prominent believers in 9/11 Truth (that individuals other than Islamic radicals flew the jets into the Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001), and is a host of a syndicated cable show on Conspiracies.

He is now suggesting he'd like to run with Ron Paul on the Libertarian Party ticket for President/Vice-President.

He made the comments on the syndicated radio show of another 9/11 Truther Alex Jones.

From R/T, "Ron Paul's running mate: Jesse Ventura?" Sept. 28:
It would create unbelievable excitement if Ron Paul and I ran as the libertarian ticket.
Additionally:
Ron Paul needs to quit the Republican Party, get the nomination for the Libertarian Party... Ron Paul can win. It’s out there. All you got to do is activate and get the silent voters out to vote,” says Ventura. “You have to give them a reason to see their vote.
Editor's comment - Of course, it is unlikely that the even the Libertarian Party, as quarky as they can be, would risk the label of 9/11 Trutherism and accept Ventura. Ironically, back in 1990, the Libertarian Party of Minnesota rejected Ventura for Governor over his support for publicly-subsidized light rail for Minneapolis.

Ron Paul was asked about the idea of Ventura as a running mate, and Paul suggested Judge Andrew Napolitano. Now that's a good choice for VP on a Ron Paul ticket.

Ventura is one crazy fucker. If you ever heard him in an interview, it's hard not to feel sorry for the guy. He's pharmaceutical grade batshit.

He looks like hell. He hit the wall hard.

Ron Paul is a truther. I note his duplicity in my post on him. And I know personally because I was intimately involved in the john Birch Society in the early to mid 90's and sat in on a talk by Doc Paul and know his proclivity to accept conspiracy theories: See MY POST on him.

Ron Paul is not a Truther.

Morgan. I know that Ron Paul thought the CIA was involved in the Oklahoma City bombing. From talking with him personally. He has relaxed his views on this a bit... but only publicly... as one of the videos from my post show of him making a point that one part of his agenda (the Federal Reserve) trumps another belief structure he holds (that is, his view on the NWO): http://youtu.be/88x6JdfjwCY

He is also an anti-Semite (as my post proves -- if you listen to the interview (http://vimeo.com/28184224) with J. Lord and M. Medved.

He is a bane on common sense, and the positions he holds that are legit he totally ruins with his NWO beliefs.

The problem, Papa, with your blog post and with Jeffrey Lord's piece in The American Spectator is they rely on guilt-by association (Alex Jones with yours and John T. Flynn with Mr. Lord's) in order to "prove" Ron Paul is a Truther/NWO nut and an anti-Semite.

Would Ron Paul have hired Eric if he was an antisemite?

Morgan, it is more than guilt by association... it is guilt by proxy (a much more powerful notion). Also, Morgan, whom does Ron Paul send his people to after he loses the nomination? If I send my constituents to the likes of Cynthia McKinney, I would have to second guess my Republican Party affiliation (if I were in a position like Ron Paul).

Ron Paul (from meeting him in the mid-nineties when he was the darling of the JBS folks here in SoCal and Ezola Foster and others in the "libertarian/independent" movement that got Pat Buchanan 0.4% of the popular vote.

I mean really, the guy is a certified nut Morgan. He all but admitted to me that we [the U.S. Government] was involved in this operation. Mind you, I use to believe this, but take note that the video I posted where he was asked by "We Are Change L.A." was pretty recent. While I had some major epifemies in the late 90's and early 2000s that made me do a 180, I do not think Ron Paul has. At least as of 2009.
