Kasich expected to sign From Eric Dondero:
Wisconsin redux. Another rustbelt state has gone fiscally conservative.
From the Houston Chronicle (via AP) "Ohio Legislature passes collective bargain limits":
The Ohio Legislature has passed a bill severely limiting union rights for 350,000 public workers amid protests by several hundred demonstrators.Ohio has the 6th largest number of public employees of all 50 states, according to Reuters.
It now goes to Republican Gov. John Kasich (KAY'-sik), who's expected to sign it by the end of the week.
The Ohio Senate voted 17-16 to approve the bill Wednesday. The House earlier cleared the measure cleared on a 53-44 vote.
Editor's note - This website was an early and enthusiastic supporter of Kasich for Governor.

...your instincts about Kasich are proving right. More, he's backed by a solid TEA-backed state congress. Let's pray he doesn't go all squishy on us like Ahnuld did.
An important issue will be how Kasich handles election reform and oversight. That, and the Ohio GOP machine is loaded with statists and RINOs quite pissed at the Teapers.
I smell a rat. The news is breathlessly reporting a serious hitch:
This one won't be posted into effect for 90 freaking days, thus giving the oppo plenty of time to organize a ballot initiative.
Um, *why* would Kasich permit that?
I think I know why... and the Tea base isn't going to like it either. This is a sell-out, one of the famous Kasich-patented weasel sell-outs. Smile to the conservative base while arming the oppo.
Hello Eric? Are *my* instincts right about Kasich?
