It is funny.
Eric goes on and on with his anti-Islamic terrorist wet dreams. But there is hardly a word about the Moslems fighting and dying to over throw the world famous terrorist dictator who rules Libya.
Moslems fighting for freedom and against a terrorist do not fit into Eric's neo-con fantasy template.
My neo-con fantasy is to bring more self government to the region (Iran is a prime candidate) in order to give voice and encouragement to the more modern Muslims.
Think of it as: "we are France in this Revolution."
I don't know what Libertarians have against exporting self government as a strategy in our war against the jihadis of this age? It is not on the table because Jefferson only mounted punitive raids?

That depends on what you mean by libertarian. In the case of demented shitbags like "gary" it's no deeper than generic contempt for other human beings. If they could be shown that it would cost them nothing,(and it doesn't) they would still advocate that their fellow humans suffer out of nothing more noble than dick-jerking spite.

Iraq - The U.S. was happy to be allied with Iraq when it fought the Islamic Republic of Iran. Our "freedom loving" American officials slept very well at night knowing Hussein was killing tens of thousands of his own people.
The Gulf War. We had no problem ending the war early and leaving Hussein's killing machine fully in place.
The Current Iraq War. Our leaders told us the war was all about WMDs. Bringing freedom to Iraq was a side cover story. The fact of the matter is we have never cared about how many people Hussein put in his mass graves.
