Rock 'n Roll Republican Bob Hedlund the next GOP Minority Leader in the Mass. Senate?

From Eric Dondero:

The Nation's longest serving (Republican Liberty Caucus-affiliated) libertarian Republican State Senator Bob Hedlund easily won reelection on Tuesday.

From Wicked Duxbury (Weekly) "Sen. Hedlund celebrates another victory":
When all the votes were tallied in the eight towns that comprise the Plymouth/Norfolk County senatorial district, Hedlund received 53,514 votes, about 75 percent, to challenger Paul Kearney’s 25 percent, or 17,837 votes.

“First of all, I’m very humbled by the victory I had,” Hedlund said on Wednesday. “It was the largest victory in my political career.”
Hedlund's friend Senator Richard Tisei lost his bid for Lt. Governor. Given his seniority among the 4 remaining Senate Republicans, Hedlund may now be tapped to be Senate Minority leader.

Hedlund is a friend and longtime supporter of Texas Congressman Ron Paul, a part-time rock guitarist, and a local radio talk show host in Weymouth.
