Apparently, in the eyes of some in the New York liberal elite, libertarians are no different from crazed goose-stepping Nazi-inspired right-wing terrorist bombers.
Classical music critic Jerry Bowles titles his weekly blog piece, "When Your Benefactor is a Facist." In his aim, 1980 Libertarian Party Vice-Presidential candidate and Cato Institute benefactor David Koch.

Fomenting civil unrest and paying entertainers like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh to confuse the rabble about who their true enemies are has been a Koch family enterprise for at least 50 years. In tandem with Rupert Murdoch, they own the mind of every new Timothy McVeigh and abortion clinic bomber this country will produce in the next several decades.

As a cellist, I think "classical music critics" are a joke, unless they can play or compose. So I think this guy's livelihood is worthless. Now, on to his political ideas. Libertarians are all about freedom/personal choice. This does not make them fascists. Last time I checked, US progressives are saying how much they admire Mao, and if they think a leader like that will allow them to do whatever they please - think again. Watch "The Red Violin" - it shows good examples of what it's like to live under these leftist scumbags. In one part of that film, a character who owns the Red Violin has to hide it to protect both the instrument itself and her own life, because she dared to like western classical music. I know certain Obama adminstraion hacks think that Mao is all that, but they really don't get it.
Fascist! Nazi! Racist! Surely these dummies could come up with something new, and different when it comes to describing libertarians and conservatives. Like my bumper sticker says: How does a belief in very limited government make me a fascist? Nobody believes their bullshit rhetoric anymore! The left is the new standard for perennial infantilism. The left is finally becoming the laughing stock for the majority of Americans. The left is becoming more irrelevant each day, and November will be just the beginning of how an awakened public will no longer put up with them. They are louder, but there is more of us, and I for one, can't wait to see the day when people roll their eyes at the mere mention of "progressive" (regressive) policies. Embarrass them, ridicule them, marginalize them! And look these bastards straight in the eyes when doing so, whether it is on the street, in a store, or anywhere the scum congregate. Make the cowards squirm!

plenty of people would say that your livelihood is pretty worthless, too, so I guess it's a good thing that liberals continue to preach the importance of teaching children to appreciate more than just the reading, writing, and 'rithmetics that right-wingers and libertarians think are enough to make one an educated and well-rounded thinker.
Perhaps you think that watching fictional movies is the best way to find out what the world is like, but there's no reason for the rest of us to eschew reality along with you.

You must be desperate! Again, how does a belief in small, limited government make libertarians, fascists? Tell me one single piece of libertarian philosophy, or conservative philosophy that resembles policies implemented by Mussolini or Hitler; the best examples of fascism. And who specifically are you referring to? David Boaz? Nick Gillespie? Virginia Postrell? Jacob Sullum? Katherine Mangu-Ward? Pffftttttt! I didn't think you could name any.

There've been a spate of anti-Koch articles recently. For that matter, there is more anti-Libertarian press these days. Could this be an indicator of the growing success of Ron Paul in challenging the status quo?
The press' standard strategy in dealing with Libertarians in the past has been to ignore us. Now they are paying attention, and proving their biases.
