FLORIDA: Republican Rick Scott pulls slightly ahead in Gov's race

From Eric Dondero:

Rick Scott had a tough primary fight. Nasty ads were traded back and forth with his opponent State AG Bill McCollum. Still, McCollum has refused to endorse him. As a result, Scott has lagged in the polls, even with his fellow ticket line holder Marco Rubio soaring to a double digit lead on the Senate side.

Now for the first time, a poll shows Scott with a narrow lead.

From RCP:
Reuters/Ipsos 9/10 - 9/12 486 LV, Sink 45 Scott 47
Other less recent polls show Scott/Carroll behind, from 2 to 8 points. But the trend is in the right direction.

Scott is a millionaire businessman and successful entrepreneur. His running mate Jennifer Carroll is a 3-term staunchly conservative state rep. from Jacksonville.

Sidenote: If the GOP ticket wins, not only will Carroll become the first Black American to be elected Lt. Gov. but Scott will become the States' first bald Governor in history.

Oh Great!

You just had to play the "bald" card didn't you!

:-)

Revel in your baldness. Embrace it.

Though, I know for a fact, as a 47-year old mand with a full head of hair, women prefer men with fir on their skulls.

My wife has told me she couldn't handle it if I was bald. Luckily so far, I am not, although I am starting to turn grey. My brother on the other hand, wasn't so lucky. Funny how genetics work.

I keep my hair 1/8 inch long. Sometimes I let myself go and get all half an inchy like some bong-huffing hippie.

My wife and I agree that my balls should be kept bald. Balled?

I'm considering letting the nose hair go and calling it a mustache.
