Bush was Right! Encore Presentation celebrating final Victory in Iraq!!

FOX POLL: 58% of Americans now think America right to go into Iraq

Fox News, "Americans Say Iraq War Worth It" Sept. 3:
Despite its contentious history, most American voters appear to have made a positive judgment about the country's efforts in Iraq. Almost six in 10 (58 percent) voters think, overall, the United States "did the right thing" by going to war, according to the latest Fox News poll.

A little over one-third of voters (35 percent) take the opposite view -- that the U.S. "did the wrong thing" by becoming involved militarily in Iraq. From a partisan perspective, there is still division -- as 54 percent of Democrats think the U.S. did the wrong thing in Iraq, while only 14 percent of Republicans feel the same way. A slim majority of independents (52 percent) think the U.S. did the right thing in Iraq.
Editor's comment - note very few if any of the AntiWar/non-interventionist wing of the libertarian movement have stepped forward to admit they were wrong all along.

Good point, bro. I wish people would give more credit to Bush for standing in the face of social pressure. Thanks.

How many times have you celebrated "final victory in Iraq" now, Eric?

How many more times do you think you'll do so before US troops finally leave, a third the place falls back under Ba'athism or something similar, and another third becomes part of Greater Iran?

Umm, how many times do we celebrate D-Day? Or, the 4th of July?

I say we celebrate Victory in Iraq Day as much as we possibly can. Parades, ticker-tape, rallies, balloons, kegfests, you name it.

CELEBRATE! CELEBRATE! CELEBRATE!

Perhaps the Greatest Victory in the History of the United States.

Yeah Baby!!!! Eat Shit and die all you Anti-War Fucks. You lost!!!!!

And I'm fucking lovin' life.

Eric,

D-Day and the 4th of July mark actual events. "Victory in Iraq" day celebrates an event that hasn't happened yet and is extraordinarily unlikely to ever happen.

But, you've claimed numerous times that this time it really did. You claimed the war was over in May, 2003. Then you said it was over at the end of 2004. Then you said the surge would work. Then you said the surge had worked.

Every other week, you convince yourself the war is over ... and you're wrong every fucking time.

While I wish we would have declared War by congressional vote in Iraq (especially after sending in our reservist and guardsmen), We won the war in Iraq at "Mission Accomplished" we just suck at winning the peace. This is currently being played out in Afghanistan. We will surge this one to victory too.

I'm not a turn my tail and run advocate like Ron Paul supporters. More of a lets not try to be everywhere all the time type, like his son Rand.

Right you are Brigands. When you cut away the chaffe, and get right down to the core, every single American opposed to the War in Iraq is essentially a yellow-bellied coward.

They hide behind "principle." Yet, they are no different from all those soldiers who cried for "mommy" in their foxholes when the bombs started dropping.

That's what this is all about - brave Americans vs. the yellow bellies, deserters and traitors.

...written while sitting comfortably in his chair instead of being over in Iraq.

Kn@ppster,

this is the same guy who kept predicting that Texas was about to secede over and over again. All he knows how to do is repeat discredited ideas.

Eric,

I seem to recall that you haven't yet selected weapons or proposed a date for our duel ... coward.

I wonder just exactly what we have won in Iraq.

Other than perhaps a region further destabilized, with power shifting from the Sunni Muslims to the more militant Shite Muslims, and a resurgent Iran in the region.

History will be the final judge.
