With the new favorable climate for the GOP, is Chuck Schumer now vulernable too?

"I will take the fight to senator Schumer in every city, town and village in this great state. This vote of confidence from my fellow Republicans proves that this Party is not afraid of Chuck Schumer, his bloated war chest, his Washington contacts or his crony special interests."

by Eric Dondero

A poll came out late last week showing the Republican contender against Democrat Senator Barbara Mikulski in Maryland has moved up 15 points, and is now only 12 points behind. Republican Linda McMahon in Connecticut has come back from 23 points behind, to just 7 behind Democrat Richard Blumenthal. Patty Murray has fallen behind Republican Dino Rossi by 5 in Washington State.

And the shocker of all shockers Barbara Boxer is now 5 points behind frontrunner Carly Fiorina in California.

Why not Chuck Schumer? Why is he considered so invincible?

Meet Gary Berntsen:
Gary Berntsen won 62% of the votes at the New York State Republican Convention in Manhattan on Tuesday. The retired CIA Officer has campaigned on a message of fiscal responsibility and refocused national and homeland security. Berntsen, a Smithtown, Long Island native, vowed to run a relentless ground campaign against the incumbent.
Frank Seabrook, libertarian Republican publisher of Suffolk County Liberty Report (Long Island) calls Berntsen "Captain America," the truest of true patriots. Berntsen is the author of the best-selling "Jawbreaker," which tells the story of the immediate aftermath of the invasion of Afghanistan, from an insiders perspective on the ground.

He's backed by local Tea Partys. He has signed Americans for Tax Reform Taxpayer Protection Pledge. He has also pledged for a complete and immediate Repeal of ObamaCare.

On Defense/Foreign Policy:
Our foreign policy must be guided, first and foremost, by American security and economic interests. The current Administration’s policy of apology and appeasement is a disgrace which weakens American interests.

As the CIA’s former Chief of Hezbollah operations, I clearly understand the extent of dangers facing Israel and their strength as America’s key ally in the Middle East.

I fully support the right of Israel to defend herself and believe Israel should not be forced into peace negotiations with those who do not even recognize her right to exist.
Berntsen is a scheduled speaker for the Anti-Ground Zero Mosque rally sponsored by Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs in NYC on September 11.

Well I think we can win back the senate, but I'd trade anyone on that list serving a life time in the senate just to get Chuckie out.

So we trade a one-party legislative dictatorship by the Left-Wing Socialist Party for a one-party legislative dictatorship by the Right-Wing Socialist Party.

Wow! Now that is change I can believe in.

Personally I like the Federal Senate of Brazil as a model. Three Senators from each of the 26 states and made up of 21 political parties totally dividing power and preventing a one-party dictatorship.

But I am just a "crazy" fringe person wanting true election reform. I mean, who would not want to live under a one-party dictatorship?
