Alex Jones - Let's be Friends with Iran

For Jones, Human Rights be damned

Eric Dondero:

AntiWar activist and left-libertarian conspiratorialist Alex Jones, said on his nationally-syndicated radio show recently, that friendship with Iran would be the best course. Jones was interviewing libertarian Republican Senate candidate Peter Schiff. The GOPer was taking a more Pro-Defense stance, which angered Jones.

Finally, at one point in the interview, Jones proclaimed himself to be a Ron Paul supporter, and then added this:
"if we try to be friends with Iran that this wouldnt be an issue..."
The audio podcast can he heard here.

Jones by advocating friendship with Iran, ignored the massive Human Rights violations of the Iranian government. Not once during the broadcast did he bring up the subject of the deaths of thousands of Iranian protesters in the Streets of Tehran during the pro-democracy demonstrations in the summer of 2009.

Ahmadinejad and his Radical Islamic government are also deniers of the Holocaust. Ironically, Jones himself is a 9/11 Truther who believes Islamists did not attack the United States, and has even raised the possibility that Jews in New York, knew of the attacks ahead of time.

It's refreshing to see a true libertarian not going along with the nutty Ron Paulites.

Wow. Breaking news. Iran is not perfect. I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!

So I guess that we need to go to war with Iran because they are not perfect and believe differently than we do.

Hmmmm . . . Maybe a lot of other nations are also not perfect. Maybe we should be going after all of them until they all agree with us 100% of the time . . . but wait, I think that was called imperialism.

If Schiff had a giant poster of that pix of Neda, that would've been the end of the debate.

If the goal is to see the mullahs overthrown and Iran become a western-style "liberal democracy," then Jones has it right. The Islamic regime would crumble quickly if it, rather than the US government, was the one seen as denying its populace iPods, Madonna CDs and the ability to go to the theatre to watch the latest Adam Sandler movie.

If, on the other hand, the goal is to keep a scary (if you don't look very close) boogey-man around to justify the US spending 20 times as much as the next biggest-spending country on "defense," then by all means continue the prsent policy.

Perhaps that bag of shit Jones would like to be stuffed in a bag, and buried up to his waist while fucking barbarians throw rocks at him.

Not "perfect," Gary? These monsters still live in the dark ages!

What kind of a stupid emotionally loaded statement is that gary? Most right leaning libertarians (myself being one) are not hoping to jump into a war w/ Iran. And although no one is perfect, not all cultures are created equally, sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Anti-American Leftist troll. And yes, they are barbaric and backward.
However we should do what we can to prevent them continuing their capacity for nuclear arms.

Will,

Yes there leadership lives in the Dark Ages. But Iran is a nation of 75,000,000 people. How many corpses of Iranian men, women and children are you willing to pile up like fire wood to change their society to look like America? Not to mention the thousands of American soldiers coming home in body bags never to see their children grow up.

Our nation is bankrupt. We have to borrow money from Communists and Arabs or the pay checks to our troops will bounce. We cannot be policeman of the world.

Yeah, I agree Will. Gary calling Iran "not perfect," is perhaps the most idiotic but also laughable statement he has ever made on this blog. So ridiculous, that you would almost think he was joking. Sad thing is, you know he was not.

Thats like saying, "Wow, murder isn't polite, but neither is eating salad with the wrong fork."

What a pathetic, degenerate fucking loser.

What's the matter with these Paulites...wanting be everyone's friends, hoping they won't hurt us. It's like the kids on the play ground that lets the bully play with his ball so he won't get beat up. These guys need to man up; it scares me when I realize I have bigger balls then some of the men I know.

I am a Paulite, I am a United States Marine Veteran of the first Gulf War. I am a 16 year firefighter. I am no coward. You faggot wannabe's don't know anything. I live in Texas and you can look me up. Faggot Turds.
You want to call names. How about "To much of a pussy to serve". "Sweet pants in college, not in the desert." I am tired of being called a coward for wanting a foreign policy that lives within it's means. We cannot take over the world when we cannot control our own border. Freakin Morons.
