Stormy Daniels may now run on Libertarian Party ticket

Louisiana's Red Hot Senate race gets even Spicier

The former porn star turned child advocate and aspiring politician Stormy Daniels, appears to be leaning against a direct Repubican primary challenge to incumbent Louisiana Senator David Vitter. She initially announced her campaign likely on the GOP ticket. Instead, Daniels is leaning to the Libertarian Party.

From a recent interview with Marie Claire:

What's your party affiliation?

A: As far as the two-party political system goes, I swing both ways. But I'm leaning toward the Libertarian Party.
The move may not come as a great surprise to Libertarian Party regulars. Daniels has referred to herself as a "libertarian," on numerous occasions in the past.

Note - The Libertarian Party has had a number of Sex Star candidates in past years, including "Cop to Call Girl" Norma Jean Almodovar for California Lt. Governor in 1988, and "breasty" Pin-up Model Loretta Nall for Alabama Governor in 2006.

Hey... If you stare at the photo long enough, you'll eventually notice a flat-screen TV in the background...

Look I'm not a libertarian as much as a Libertarian Republican but I think the party deserves a more serious candidate.

This isn't a shot at her line of work and she seems honest and quite bright. But does she really have any serious grounding libertarian economics and policy?

I know it was a short blurb interview but her stated admiration for Hillary Clinton and her goals to "rebuild the Gulf Coast" and "create jobs" don't exactly have a Libertarian ring to them.

I don't follow it much but it seems like the party takes on any gag candidate or celebrity it can juice it's profile. It's kind of sad.

Again-- She really does seem sharp and I don't mean this as a personal insult. She just doesn't offhand seem interested or grounded enough in Libertarian ideas at this point.

Love to take her home and have a long talk.

I've been following this story and I feel that Daniels has pretty Libertarian views when it comes to the economy and a variety of other issues.

Anyone who "swings both ways" between the totalitarian marxist democrat party and the republican party is a brainless flake.
