"Women of the Right Rock!"From Eric Dondero:
Not much of a stunning revelation to those of us libertarians who have gorgeous wives. But perhaps worthy to poke in the face of liberal weenie guys.
From Ian Robinson, Calgary Sun,"Right-wing Women Rock" Oct. 25:
The recent election of Danielle Smith as leader of the Wildrose Alliance reminded me that among the many things I love about the libertarian/right wing are the women.Photos - Elizabeth Hasslebeck of The View, Radio Talk Show host Monica Crowley, Sarah Palin and newly elected Chair of the Alberta (based in Calgary) Wildrose Alliance Danielle Smith, the latter two both self-described "libertarians."
Our women are a genuine asset when they enter politics because they've spent their lives figuring out how to live within their family's means ... while still affording a couple of pairs of those Jimmy Choos.
Because most of them have careers and work hard, they understand the value of a dollar, allowing you a steak lifestyle on a hamburger income ... and they know they can spend their family's money more intelligently than some faceless bureaucrat with a passion for public art or totalitarian city planning.
Right-wing women are essentially libertarians ... they don't take well to being bossed around and they don't like bossing other people around unless it's to tell them they can't spend money.
And in case you're not convinced, to indicate the utter superiority of the right-wing woman over the left-wing variant ... just turn on The View.
The left has Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg.
We've got Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
Checkmate.

Dude,
Sarah Palin is NOT a libertarian, no matter what she might say.
Her foreign policy alone rules her out.
Her dalliance with McCain and the Republican rules her out.
Her petro socialism in Alaska rules her out.
Her lack of any rational economic philosophy rules her out.
Where is she on personal liberties like for instance ending the War on Drugs?
Sarah Palin is not a libertarian.
The fact you seem to espouse a standing army for defense of the "Homeland" suggests you are not quite libertarian, either. The term "Homeland" is the antithesis of libertarian.
Danielle Smith IS a libertarian. CHOICE in all things.
The columnist you re print is named Ian ROBINSON, not "Anderson", FYI.
FYI, Danielle Smith is not the "Calgary chair" of the Wildros Alliance -- she is the leader of the party, candidate for premier of the province of Alberta.
Dude, you're not a libertarian, no matter what you might say.
Her foreign policy absolutely rules her in. You obviously have no idea what real libertarianism is about. Now scoot... Get the 'F' outta here. This is a blog for REAL LIBERTARIANS LIKE THE GREATEST LIBERTARIAN OF ALL-TIME SARAH PALIN!!!
(with the possible exceptions of Goldwater and Ayn Rand)
I see Palin as a Right Libertarian also. I don’t know the details of all her positions, but she appears to always stress the right things in Facebook, speeches, and op-ed columns. She is so ruthlessly anti-Obama and anti-statist, personally, with the way the country is going now, I could overlook minor imperfections.
I gave you a mention at:
Palin Calls For Hoffman - GOP Folds
And every place I can I'm telling the Conservatives to give up the Culture War.

I'm a libertarian and I support crushing the Islamonazis.
Why?
Some al-Qaeda News I Missed
Those mofos appear to be playing around with the Black Death
The Black Death has reportedly killed at least 40 al-Qaeda operatives in North Africa.
The disease, which struck Europe in the Middle Ages killing more than 25 million people, has swept through a training camp for insurgents in Algeria.
The arrival of the plague was discovered when security forces found the body of a dead terrorist by a roadside, the Sun reports.
The victim belonged to the large al-Qaeda network AQLIM (al-Qaeda in the Land of the Islamic Maghreb).
And McCain picked Palin. Not the other way around.
Petrosocialism is Alaska law. Take it up with the Alaska legislature.
Her rational economic policy was on display in Hong Kong. An Obama supporter who was there, Goode, said she was bright.
Is she a perfect libertarian? No. But she did inhale. And she is probably the best chance we will have in a generation to get a libertarian leaning Republican back in the Oval Office.
Unless and until Gary Johnson throws his hat in the ring she is my choice. In fact a Johnson/Palin or a Palin/Johnson ticket would be very nice.
OT sorta,
Here is the essence of something I left (heh) at IPR:
Here is a link for Zogby and the Bob Barr surge in 2008:

I used to be a staunch Libertarian. Secty/Treas of my local club in Illinois (Rockford) for 3 years. When the Libs pussied out post 9/11 I left the Party. Now I'm a hard core Palin supporter until some one better on the R side comes along. I'd like to see Gary Johnson. Maybe a Johnson/Palin ticket or a Palin/Johnson.

Why McCain Picked Palin
Dude, Monica Crowley is not a libertarian. She is a high-maintenance women to deal with for whichever man has been assigned that fate.
