Jason Shih, Corzine staffer, busted on Drug charges near Public School

BREAKING NEWS!!

What is known so far...

Summarized from the NY Post and other sources:

Jason Shih was busted by New Jersey cops for possession of 19 blue star Ecstasy tablets and "hundreds of empty plastic bags" found in his car. He was pulled over for talking on his cell phone while driving. He stated that he was a member of Jon Corzine's campaign staff. (One report calls him a "Deputy Dirctor). But the campaign denies that he's a paid staffer.

He was pulled over in East Rutherford, "within 100 feet of Becton Regional High School."

There is a Facebook photo of a Jason Shih who resides in "Northern New Jersey." Photo and full information here.

UPDATE!

From NJ.com:

several tickets to tomorrow’s rally with President Obama at Newark’s Prudential Center were found in his car.
Also, the article notes that Shih admitted the car was "rented by the campaign."

UPDATE!

A search has found that a Jason Shih from Paramus, NJ was paid $470.00 as a "field consultant" for the Democrat Party in 2006.

Corzine must be LYING about this guy not being on his staff. When Markie The Krapper Kos scubs it from his site you know a Radical Left-wing pol is hiding something. How a story can't be found yet show 134 comment's to a story that doesn't exist show's the studity of Markie and his basement dweller's. And this is the party of the supposed intellect's? I can go in my back yard and find what my dog left behind this morning and it's IQ is higher than any LIBBY and 10x the IQ of any Obama voter and lover.

Had to misspell a few words so any Krapper kiddie in mommy's basement would be able to understand. :-)

Corzine and the Dems are claiming they don't have any association to this guy. This linke for OpenSecrets.org proves that he has worked for a democratic PAC in New Jersey. Of course, OpenSecrets.org does not have this page up anymore:

The story just hit Memeorandum. It will be all over the blogs early tomorrow morning. There's no stopping it now!

And worst of all for Corzine, his top staff has been caught in a blatant lie; saying they had no idea who Shih was.

The only thing that would make this better is if he had an illegal gun and was caught with McGreavy.

Middlesex Dems fire Paramus man arrested on drug charges

0 Comments The Middlesex County Democratic Organization has fired a paid canvasser who falsely claimed to be the assistant deputy director of Governor Corzine’s re-election campaign when arrested by East Rutherford police Friday night.
A spokesman for the MCDO confirmed Sunday that Jason Shih, 25, of Paramus, was one of more than 100 canvassers and organizers who have been working on grassroots outreach efforts for the county organization for the last eight to ten weeks. Shih was working in particular on outreach to Middlesex County’s Asian-American population, said spokesman Adam Silverstein
Shih was stopped by East Rutherford police on Route 17 for allegedly talking on his cell phone. Police said they found Ecstasy tablets and drug paraphernalia in the car.
“He is no longer associated with us at all,” Silverstein said. “We’ve obviously fired him.”
Silverstein also confirmed that the vehicle that Shih was driving when he was pulled over Friday night in East Rutherford was rented by the organization. He said he did not know whether Shih was in Bergen County on official MCDO business or on a personal errand.
East Rutherford police confirmed Sunday that their police reports from that night indicate that Shih was being paid by the Middlesex County Democratic Organization.
Representatives from the Corzine campaign have denied knowing of Shih. Silverstein said he was “a per diem employee who clearly overstated his position with any campaign.”

Should libertarians be gloating with partisan feelings instead of reaffirming that what one puts in one's own body is none of the government's business?
