I'm confused. Surely you aren't condemning polgamy. Gov't shouldn't be involved in how many wives a guy (or how many husbands a gal) can have.
The issue is the abuse of the welfare laws and that really doesn't have anything to do with islam.

Why should people be required to get a license to marry?Do you know when this was started? Or why?It was started to prevent whites from marrying blacks. Before that, marriage wasn't a gov't concern.
Why do you care what two consenting adults (or more) do?
Given the raw deal given fathers in courtrooms, men would be better not marrying.
If no one gets "married", then they can live the lifestyle they want. A man can live with two women. If he never "marries" them, then what is the difference?
I agree with AllanlnTN on this one. But I'd to point out two things to everyone, the problems here are:
1. this man lied so he could get benefits he didn't deserve and ripped off the Aussie tax payer.
2. this is the result of a culture (not a religion) that was taken over centuries ago by insecure cave-man morality fascists who currupted and abused the Muslim population.

This guy obviously got away with it, cause he's a member of a "Minority."
