Chryslergate: The Numbers tell the Story

Doug Ross, the man who started it all, has a new round of figures up on his blog. And some nifty charts to go along with it.

Ross finds overwhelming evidence of Republican-owned Dealerships being closed by Chrysler. He includes one graphic, above, showing the: "ratio of GOP-to-Democrat donations for the dealerships that were closed by Obama and his minions."

You can read it all at DirectorBlue.blogspot.com

Is it any wonder I don't watch MSNBC and come to the blosphere to get my news??

Eric, check out "Black Panther-gate". Obama's DOJ dismissed charges against a Black Panther who was wearing a Black Panther uniform and carrying a weapon outside a Philly voting poll area - which is inherently voter intimidation, in my book. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/05/who_pressured_justice_to_drop.html

This is the absolute worst "President" (I don't believe he's legal, myself)in American history, imo. It's beyond belief.

Hey Eric,

Gotta tell ya, I'm having an issue with this "the homeland" term. It's too Nazi socialist for me. Too statist. Too weird. It gets really weird when people get into "the homeland".

I saw "the homeland" phraseology on your site. I think it's collectivism. It's reminiscent of Hitler's appeal to call the Germans to love Germany with a zeal that turned out of control as he hyped up the German people in weird ways. I think the DHS, etc.,and Obama are playing that same mindgame today. I think we should be into the values of liberty, the Constitution, but not statist collectivism or nationalism.

National sovereignty on the basis of the Constitution - not borders or the collective or the state - national sovereignty with basis on principles - not "the homeland" That's a poison psychological control prhase of the state to me. (They use it to brainwash people, imo.)

You're obviously an expert on brainwashing. Holy shit, Grace Explosion, you are turning into a friggen cartoon character. What the hell happened to you? Alien abduction?

Stop and thing about it: "the homeland". Hey, if Obama wasn't invoking a "Civilian National Security Force" - if we didn't have FEMA and DHS declaring "constitution free zones" - if we didn't have HR645 to authorize concentration camps annexed on military bases (which have already been built and are already contracted to be manned by Haliburton)... if all this Nazi Gestapo NWO crazy fascist police state wasn't being built... it wouldn't occur to me.

But, given the facts, I don't like "the homeland" phrase.

They are trying to take away guns. They are trying to gain control of the internet and free speech. So, this government is moving forward on all of these levels... AND nationalizing banks (as well as car companies - and we see how that's going).

If you're the frog in the water not realizing it's getting hot in here - I'd say you may be unaware of clear and present danger.

The totalitarian police state infrastructure is being built right now.

Alien abduction is the only explanation, perhaps, for not noticing.

PS ccoffer, I have read up on brainwashing - social programming. People in power have been using propaganda to evoke certain responses from people for a long time, wouldn't you agree?? Certain phrases elicit certain emotional responses. Once we develop an emotionally based response - we no longer critically analyze the stimuli or our response - until someone brings it to our attention and asks us to think about it.

It's why I read, listen to differing views, and want to consider my positions. I am always willing to change them if I am proven to be on the wrong side. (I try to keep my mind open and myself open to thinking. Truth means a great deal to me.) That's why I was willing to look at the facts rather than writing off people. I'm not easily controlled by brainwashing. I'm somewhat aware of how it works, and I watch out for it.

I have VERY clear and strong memories of how I saw Hitler on movies elicit blind loyalty and responses out of people for "the Fatherland". So, as I see fascism rising and the demagogue figure of Obama - and how people have been stirred by 9/11 to respond emotionally rather than critically analyzing the change to our nation and the loss of our liberties as we become more and more an infrastructure of a totalitarian state - I'm definitely "flagged" that I personally do NOT like the phraseology "the homeland".

So, I ask others to stop, think about it, and question the use of that phrase which has nothing to do with the principles upon which this nation were founded.

I like to focus on and examine principles. I will give blind loyalty to follow no man. I think for myself - and, as I say, I am always open to learn and change my mind when presented with knowledge I previously lacked.

Grace,

"I like to focus on and examine principles. I will give blind loyalty to follow no man."

That sounds like the most intelligent path to follow. I've said it many times here, but I'll say it again:

I don't support politicians. I support principles.

Any person is capable of changing, so that even those who we have agreed with in the past may now have beliefs that we simply don't want to go along with. For instance, I like what Obama has to say about personal responsibility. I don't like his decisions that are continuing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I like Bush's push to provide aid to impoverished people in African nations. I don't like the way he pushed "No Child Left Behind" without making sure that it was properly funded.

When you believe in following principles instead of people, I think you are less likely to get yourself worked up into a tizzy whenever a certain political party wins or loses an election. I'd rather push whatever group is in power to represent what I believe in, regardless of whether they are a Democrat or a Republican.

I'm sure you and I probably still disagree on most things. However, I definitely find your willingness to stand for principles instead of people quite admirable.
