From Rasmussen:
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 41% would vote for their district’s Republican candidate while 38% would choose the Democrat. Thirty-one percent (31%) of conservative Democrats said they would vote for their district’s Republican candidate.
Overall, the GOP gained two points this week, while the Democrats lost a point in support...

Hopefully Bunning stepping aside will lead to Rand Paul getting the nomination here. Trying to cover as much of Rands activity as I can. I have to say I agree with Rand much more than Ron on the issues.
Having personally known both of them for over 15 years, I can testify, Rand is a lot, lot more rational on many issues than his Dad. And he's a lot more fun to party with too.
Plus, he's a great fan of the rock group Rush.
Interesting sidenote: I was there the very day he decided to change his name from "Randy," to Rand.
Don't panic you all. Blog Administrator is not censoring our good friend Rae. She's just having some technical issues; her posts are repeating, and she requested that I delete her posts.

(Thank you so much, Eric! Sorry for the trouble. I will now repost with no italics tags.)
I got this link via Twitter:
Word From Rand Paul & U Kentucky SpeechRand writes:
"Friends,
I find it a bit troubling that Trey Grayson is pushing Senator Bunning to leave the race. It is perhaps disingenuous, at best, for him to proclaim that Sen. Bunning is his mentor and then announce he is forming an exploratory committee to run, even BEFORE Senator Bunning makes any announcement.
I think Senator Bunning should be commended not only for his great service, but incredible courage in voting against the Bank Bailout. I think it is disrespectful to form any campaign organization while he is still running."
I have no doubt the GOP beltway hacks will back yet another unprincipled, uninspired mope rather than Rand, or even Bunning.
(And I don't know if it's the hair or what, but Rand reminds me of David Lynch.)
Well, it's obviously an HTML tag problem.

Please call me ASAP on my office line: 979-319-5911.
