LR's article on Al-Shabab Muslim radicals gets picked up by Kenya Watch

2nd Major International Media picks up groundbreaking LR story

Libertarian Republican news blog is receiving some international acclaim for reporting on the growing conflict on the Somali-Kenya border and the violence spurred by Al-Shabab Muslim rebels.

Kenya Watch has picked up Libertarian Republican's article, which first ran last Sunday: "Al Qaeda in Somalia Threatens Kenyan Invasion." The well-read and respected news blog is run by Ingrid Jones of the United Kingdom.

Ms. Jones is a well-known humanitarian writer, specializing in assistance to starving and repressed populations on the continent. Her family of African news blogs were "created to monitor mainstream media reporting on humanitarian crises in Sudan, Uganda, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Niger and several other hotspots."

Since the article first ran, in addition to Kenya Watch, the article has run in full or excerpted at Atlas Shrugs, Jawa Report, RightSideNews.com, MichNews.com, InfidelsUnite, and the hugely popular Canada Free Press. Note - The LR story ran a full day before the same news was broken by the Voice of America, the first US Media outlet to report on the growing conflict.
