Nation's Number One Republican website - RedState.com - questions Birth Certificate veracity

For the first time, the highly respected and well-visited website RedState.com, has published an article questioning Obama's birth certificate, and reasons for covering it up.

Warner Todd Huston, regarded as one of RedState's more libertarian editorialists, wrote today:

Was he born here? Barack Obama vs the Law

So, why won't he show the birth certificate, anyway?
Huston displayed the newly YouTube video on the matter. And then had this to say:

I am not personally convinced the birth certificate is an issue, but I have to say, I have no leg to stand on but my “feeling” that it isn’t relevant because we’ve not seen actual birth certificate to butress my “feeling.” So, what do I tell people that insist this is an important issue?

I have nothing logical to tell them to disabuse them of their notion because I can’t prove them wrong.

So, why won’t Obama just publish the real birth certificate?
You can watch the video here.

From the Editor: For months now Libertarian Republican blog has been pounding on this issue, bringing our readers the very latest birth certificate news, and editorializing on the matter when virtually no other Republican blogs would touch it. Now, the one website that represents the very heart of the Republican Party is picking up on the story. Needless to say, we're thankful, and feel quite vindicated.

If SCOTUS won't touch it, it doesn't matter if the damn thing was written in hieroglyphics in Egypt or with crayons in Indonesia.

RG, I don't see this so much as a battle to impeach Obama. This is more for the future: the make sure that an illegal alien like him, never again gets elected President of the United States.

And that includes Jennifer Granholm, AND Arnold! Even though, unlike illegal Obama, they entered the country legally.

And we know their immigration status for sure. They'll never be president unless they change the constitution.

And would you rather him be replaced by McCain? You realize McCain was born in Panama right?

Eric Dondero said...

You realize that Panama was a Territory of the United States at the time (the Zone part)?

Just like Puerto Rico, Vigin Islands, and even Johnston Atoll. There are currently 19 territorial possessions of the United States. Key words UNITED STATES!

If someone is born on Wake Island, Palmyra, Navassa Island or even on Johnston Atoll, which is underwater half the year, THEY ARE STILL RED, WHITE AND BLUE AMERICANS!!!

John McCain was also born on a US military base, which is considered US soil no matter where in the world it is.

Children being born to soldiers on base in Iraq, Japan, Germany, anywhere all are natural born US citizens

I agree, the lame horse has left the barn this time. But the situation does point to the need for validation of candidate credentials in the future.

Politically, if the TOTUS was declared inelligable, it could actually be worse, my guess would be the Pelosi might be elevated to the post. I do not think the system would default to McCain.

Pre-cisely! JustAl. What the cynics, including our own Right Guy don't seem to understand, is that this isn't about Obama. It's too late on him. He already tricked us. We have to live with him for the next 3+ years.

But it's about the future. Let us NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!

Let's make sure that this precedent he has set - that one can be foreign born and still be elected President of the United States - does NOT! stand!!!

And that includes most especially Jennifer BITCH Granholm, and even our own Republican Arnold!

No doubt, if Obama is able to persist in keeping his birth certificate secret, it will only serve to encourage both Granholm and Schwarzenegger in their future Presidential ambitions.

And don't doubt for a single minute that Granholm has her eyes on the White House. What she has done to Michigan, she will do to the entire United States. It will be worse even than 4 year of Obama-mmunism.

I happen to believe that the birth certificate issue is an issue. I wrote about here The Birth Certificate Issue and Why It Matters Part of my take on this is I believe what was posted, the COLB, is real and why he is hiding the original.

Al:

Amendment XXV
Section 1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or
resignation, the Vice President shall become President.
Section 2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President
shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of
both Houses of Congress.
Section 3. Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate
and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable
to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written
declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice
President as Acting President.
Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of
the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit
to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of
Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the
powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and
duties of the office as Acting President.
Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and
the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists,
he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority
of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as
Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the
Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the
President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress
shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session.
If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or,
if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble,
determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the
powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as
Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

It is well known what countries Arnold the Democrat and Jennifer Grandscheme were born in.

I used to be a fan of Michelle Malkin, but when she called those of us who questioned the birth certificate issue the "tin-foil hat brigade," I realized she wasn't as smart as I thought.

What concerned American doesn't question a candidate who's going to be entrusted with the country? And this was a candidate who wouldn't provide anything to show what he was and where he'd been.

Dems play dirty, Repubs are wimpy, and slimeballs like Zero slip through.

Mark my words, you'll be praying for the day when someone can get Baracula out on these grounds -- and render null and void all the devastating decisions he has made for this country.

As for next in line? Slow Joe has too much ego to let Nancy and Harry push him around. He's dumb as a box of rocks, but I think he has about an ounce less of evil in him than The One.

Right Guy,
I am not sure the normal succession would work here. Since, if His "O"lliness was found to be an illegal candidate, then wouldn't Biden also be the fruit of a tainted election?

That is why I theorized Pelosi, she is the first in the line of succession who would have been legally elected (maybe).

Even if Obama is disqualified, Biden is qualified. Sometimes I think it would be better to go back to the old way where #2 was vice president.
